Cecilia's P.O.V

I heard people talking as I descended the stairs, following where it comes from leads me to the study of my father. Does he have a visitor? Who could it be this early morning? I knock on the wooden door twice before entering.

There, I saw my father talking to a handsome man. He's about my age, tall, a well built body, black hair with a deep blue eyes just like the ocean. He's wearing an Armani suit which suits him perfectly, everything about him just seems so right. He makes my heart flutter just by standing there looking so proud, tall and handsome. Did I already mentioned handsome? Because he really is handsome.

"Darling, good morning. You're just right on time, please meet Dimitri Branson. This is my daughter, Cecilia." My father says.

"Hello Dimitri, nice to meet you" I say, extending my hand for him to shake.

He took my hand and shook it slightly. "Likewise Miss Winters." I just look at him in daze. My goodness Cecilia! Snap out of it!

"Dimitri here, will be your bodyguard from now on." My father says after some time. What he said seems to snap me out as I look at him, surprise.

"Bodyguard? A bodyguard!? Papa! Why do I need a bodyguard!?" I can't help, but raise my voice a little.

"Settle down Cecilia." My mother said, just entering the room with a maid in tow, bringing some tea.

"You seem to not take this stalker of yours seriously darling. It worries us, that's why we hired Dimitri here to protect you and to maybe catch him or her. It's definitely a him, but anyways, we just want you safe." My father explains as he takes a sit.

Three weeks ago, was when I received a letter from an anonymous sender. I already forgot most of it, but I remember some of it about how beautiful I was and how dazzling I was to look at every time a sunlight hits me. Goodness. I just ignored it, but the next day I received another one and it's full of compliments. I see no harm in that so I just let it be, but a week later it became creepier and creepier, saying stuff like 'I can't wait to hold you' or 'we'll be together soon, just wait for me to finish preparing' and other stuff. I wasn't planning on telling my parents or my best friend about it, but my assistant Elizabeth did and so here we are.

"But papa, I only received letters, there's no harm in that. This has been going on for like what? Three weeks? Whoever this is will surely get tired of it and stops. No need to hire a bodyguard!" I argued.

"He can be dangerous! Cecilia, you don't know what goes on people's mind, what if one day, you were out and he decided to attack you or something? We can't have that. This won't be forever, just until he gets caught, okay? Please darling. This will ease our worries." My mom beg. Who am I to refuse when your parents beg you? Tsk. I already hate my assistant following me around, though it's a must, but adding another one? How annoying, well, it's less annoying because he's handsome. Wait, what? No!

I sigh and just give up. "Fine. Whatever." This made my parents smile.

"Well then I'm off. Today is Mary's grand opening to her boutique, I'm helping her." I say and gave both my parents a kiss.

"What time is the opening?" My mother ask.

"Half past ten ma, I'll see you there?"

"Definitely. I won't miss it for a day. See you later darling." I bid my goodbyes' before going out with Dimitri behind me. I was about to walk out when Elizabeth came in.

"Miss Winters, another letter for you" She says, handing it to me. I open it and for the first time in three weeks, I shivered and got really scared. The letter says:

Hello, my love.

How are you today? Me? I'm kind of angry and disappointed. Why? Because you hired a bodyguard! Why? Why would you do that? Do you really think I would hurt you? And even if I would, I assure you he can't protect you from me.

I would be the least person you'd suspect.

I'll be watching you from a far for now, well not so far.

How did he know? Dimitri took the letter from my hand and read through it.

"How did he know? And it seems kinda fast for him to know such thing!" I exclaimed.

"I came here yesterday by your father's request to move my things in the room I was assigned to, so that I'm always close to you. I was introduced to all the servants here and to your driver, maybe he heard from one of them. I need to interrogate all of them later."

One of the servants? But why would they share that information to someone? They were told to not share any information regarding us outside this manor.

"Can we just forget about this for now? I have a very important event to attend to. Let's just go." I say and walk out of the house first. While walking towards the car, I saw Edward, our gardener tending to my favorite flowers.

"Good morning Edward" I greeted. He look up at me and just smile before returning his attention to what he's doing. That's odd, Edward was always a cheerful person. "Is everything alright, Edward?"

He stood up and bow down slightly "I'm sorry miss, I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed." He smile slightly and scratch the back of his head, but you can still see that he's not in a good mood.

"I see. Sorry for disturbing you, see you later." I say, he just bow down and went on with his work.

I continue to make my way to the car, where Thomas, my driver, is waiting for us. Elizabeth owns the passenger sit, leaving me and Nicolas in the back. He smell so damn good as well.

Seriously, I really need to stop with this. There's more important things that needs my attention more than this god like man sitting comfortably beside me.
