Four Years Later

Cecilia's P.O.V

"Uncle Lancer! Uncle Mark!" Adeline hurriedly ran towards her uncles the moment she got out of the car. Lancer crouch down and pick her up before twirling, making my daughter squeal happily.

"How is my favorite girl doing?" He ask and put her down.

"I'm okay." She said and giggle before going to Mark and hug him with her little arms.

Everyone adores my daughter and her grandparents spoil her rotten, but what surprises me and Dimitri the most is Lancer. He cried the moment he held her in his arms and whenever she cries, she would only calm down when me or Lancer would carry her. Their bond cannot be compared to anything, maybe that explains why I was the way I was with Lancer when I was pregnant.

"Hey Lancer." I said as we hug each other. "How are you?"

"I'm alright Cecilia, yourself?"

"Not bad." I look at Mark and hug him next.

"Hey there favorite brother-in-law." I said jokingly making us both laugh when Lancer scoff. "Oh bugger off Lance, you're my favorite too." He roll his eyes at me.

"I don't care if I am or not, because sorry to break it to you too, but my only favorite girl is this one right here!" He said and tickles Adeline before playfully throwing her into the air.

"Yeah, yeah." I said smiling.

"We should go inside." Mark said.

"You can go on ahead, I'll wait for Dimitri." I replied.

"No, no. Dimitri said we can wait for him inside. Let's go." He said and pull me towards the door that is close for some reason.

"Why are we in the church anyways? There's no mass today." I said and look at them both suspiciously. Mark made me stand on the center, I was about to say something when I heard a music started playing.

~From this moment, life has begun.~ As soon as some started singing the door slowly open and there, I saw our family standing looking at me. Mary came up to me and handed me a bouquet of flowers, while wiping her tears away. My heart beats faster as I look at the man standing near the altar. My legs wobble and my tears starts to build up, I took a deep breath before walking down the isle. As I got nearer, Dimitri reach out his hand and I gladly took it.

"Dimitri, what's this?" I ask, even though it's so obvious.

"Shotgun wedding." He said and wink.

"We're gather here today to unite these two people in marriage." The priest started. As he continues, I just look at Dimitri the whole time.

"Do you, Dimitri, take Cecilia Winters as your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until death do you part?"

"I do." Dimitri says.

"Do you, Sybil, take Dimitri Branson as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until death do you part?"

"I do." I said. We exchange rings and the priest then continues his speech.

"May the blessings of life, the joy of love, the peace of truth and the wisdom and strength of Spirit, be your constant companion, now and always, as husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." He pronounce.
