Chapter 15

Dimitri's P.O.V

One week, one week and there's still no sign of Cecilia. Ever since we announce the reward for whoever sees her, a lot of people called claiming they saw Cecilia here and there and if we ask where exactly, they would ask for the money first and that's when I know they're lying. Her parents wouldn't hesitate giving the money to whoever as long as they said they saw her, good thing me and Marry are there to stop them from wasting it. We're now in their living room again watching news and waiting for yet another call just like what we always did for these past few days, waiting and hoping.

"Mary darling. I know how worried and how much you wanted to help out look for Cecilia and we appreciate that, but you still have your wedding to take care of." Cecilia's mother, Mellisa said.

"My wedding is postponed until we found Cecilia Auntie." All of us, except for Luca look at her in shock.

"What do you mean?" Andrew ask.

"My wedding is not going to happen if she is not here."

"But Cecilia wouldn't want that. It's your wedding and-"

"Exactly. It's my wedding, so whether Cecilia will like it or not, it's postponed." She cut her off. "Besides, I don't have a wedding gown. Cecilia will be the one making it and now that she's not here, I won't have anything to wear and I refuse to wear anything besides the one she'll make for me. We promise each other that if we get married, we'll make each others wedding gowns and I'll stick to that." She said and smile sadly, remembering the days perhaps.

"Is that okay with you Luca?" We look at him, waiting for what he was about to say.

"Yes, I wouldn't want a wedding without her in it. Cecilia is the reason why me and Mary are together, without her, I don't think we'll be in this position." He answered.

"My daughter is so lucky to have the both of you as her friends." Indeed. It's hard to find these kind of friends nowadays and I'm glad Cecilia have them.

"What about you Dimitri?" Mary suddenly ask. Now all their attention turned to me.

"What about me?" I ask.

"You broke up with Cecilia right? So, why are you here?" She squint her eyes at me.

"I'm here because I care about her, yes we broke up, but that doesn't mean I don't love her anymore. Also, I kind of feel responsible for what happened, if only I didn't broke up with her, she wouldn't have sneak out and this wouldn't have happened." I said honestly.

"So why exactly did you break up with her?" Because her father said so and threatened me.

"It's complicated." Is the only thing I said.

"How so?"

"It's my fault." All our heads turn towards Andrew. Me and Mellisa look at him surprise while Mary and Luca look at him confuse as to why it's his fault. "I told him to break up with Cecilia."

"Why would you do that?" Mary stood up and glare at him, clearly not scared of him. Before he could respond, the telephone ring and since I was the closest, I pick it up.

"Hello?"

"Hi. I have an information about Cecilia Winters? I'm a nurse at XXX Hospital and she was admitted here few hours ago." My heart is racing and my palm started sweating. Is this it? I hope this is it.

"We'll be right there. Thank you." I said and hang up. I turn around to see all of them are now standing and looking at me with hopeful eyes. "The one who called is a nurse at XXX Hospital and she said Cecilia is there."
