Cas’ P.O.V
School was finaly slowing down enough that I had enough time to plan the rest of the wedding. It was in three days, and Charlie thought it would be fun if we stuck to tradition, so of course that included not seeing each other, three days before the wedding.
So here I was, in an empty, cold, cheap motel room.
Come on Castiel, it’s only three days, you can do this. I tried to egg myself on, but of course when does that shit ever work.
I was pacing now, deciding on whether or not I should text Gabriel or not.
I decided to call him, because I’m bored and lonely and I could use some of his ridiculousness right now.
I paced as the phone dialled, and when Gabriel answered he had the audacity to sound surprised.
“Little brother! How nice of you to call” and there was a little bit of sarcasm and hurt lining his tone, but I ignore it.
“Hey Gabriel, sorry I meant to call earlier, I swear.” I apologise quickly.
“Don’t worry Cassie I know” Gabriel laughed, and you could hear the sucking sound as he popped another lollipop in his mouth, I cringed.
I coughed nervously,I honestly didn’t know how to go about this. “I-uh-I have a question” I stammered.
Gabriel chuckled at me, “What’s up Cassie, Dean not treatin’ you right, need a new boytoy already?” I rolled my eyes, he just cancelled at least half of my nerves.
“No, ah. Well Dean proposed to me when we got home, s-“ “WHAT OH MY GOD MY CASSIE’S GETTING MARRIED?????????” he screamed, and I could hear Michael yelling at him angrily, I could almost feel him flipping him off.
I laughed, smiling widely. “Anyway, I was wondering if you would be my best man, that is if you’re able to get over here.” I finished, still a little nervous.
“Hold on, you guys have been home for nearly two months, why am I just hearing about this?” Gabriel tutted.
I sighed, “My phone broke remember I still haven’t gotten a new one, plus I didn’t think you’d be able to come.” I whispered.
“why’s that Cassie?” he asked, his mouth audibly popping off of his lollipop again, and I knew he was doing it because he knows it annoys me.
“Because you know, with how I left things off with Mike and Luci” I finished, scratching the back of my neck, an absent habbit I picked up from Dean.
And now I miss him more.
“Eh, they aren’t the boss of me, I do what I want, plus I’m the trickster, they’ll probably be to stupid to notice my absense.” Gabriel laughed.
I laughed along with him, relaxing enough to lay on my bed.
“Gabriel, how is Sammandriel, I didn’t get to talk to him much when I was there, is he still getting bullied?” I asked anxiously, I swear that kid and I were the same.
“No actually, they don’t even touch him anymore, ever since the last time you were over.” Gabriel trailed off.
I banged my head back against the headbourd, even Alfie was a stronger person then me, that’s actually pretty sad, but I’m not one for self pitying, so I get back up and peer out the curtain.
It was downright depressing out at the moment; the sky was a dark grey, the clouds so compressed that it could almost pass as dusk, but it was merely twelve p.m. It’s also raining, making me even more depressed, tired and lonely.
