Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba One Shot

Muichiro Tokito

To think that amongst the Demon Slayer Corp, there is one girl who is dense but strong and is a Tsugoku of Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Pillar.

No one knew that you actually knew Muichiro before joining the Demon Slayer Corp. Except Shinobu and Kanae since you were close to them. Muichiro however, doesn't remember, much to your disappointment.

The story of how you knew Muichiro rewinds back to when you were 7. You were a year younger than Muichiro and his older twin Yuichiro.

Both of your parents were friends with the twins' mother and thus, you'd often go to their place and play with them. Eventually you developed a crush on Muichiro.

However, everything changed when you were 9. You went to the Tokito household like usual. You were shock to see that the household was slaughtered and the twins were no where to be found.

You didn't where they went and neither could you look for them since you were too young. You silently prayed for them to be safe. 2 years later, you decided to become a Demon Slayer.

You passed the Final Selection and finally became a Demon Slayer. That's when you realized, Muichiro became one too but on a higher rank than you, a Mist Hashira.

Muichiro didn't recognize you and it broke your heart as he sounded so blank. Oyakata-sama then explains Muichiro's situation to you and you broke into tears.

Yuichiro had died protecting Muichiro and then he lost his memories. He only trained for 2 months before promoting to before a Hashira. You didn't know how much Muichiro went through but was determine to helo get his memories back.

Thus, you volunteered to be trained under Muichiro's guidance which Oyakata-sama agreed. Since then, you've been training with Muichiro and sometimes the other Hashiras.

"Y/N-chan" You turn away from the window and smiled. "Hey Shinobu-san!" You greeted and went to her. "Y/N-chan, we have new guests here at the Butterfly Estate" says Shinobu.

"Oh?" "The Slayers are to be trained during the Functional Recovery Training" says Shinobu. "Let me guess, I'm suppose to help them train?" You ask and Shinobu nods. "Alright, no problem!" You said.

A few days later, you were waiting in Muichiro's training ground for the Demon Slayers. While waiting, you had baked cookies as a reward for their recovery and maybe if they improved.

As you were baking the cookies, you remembered about your past with Muichiro and Yuichiro. "*sigh* Muichiro doesn't even remember anymore" You mumbled.

You shake your head and headed back to the training ground and you see three boys there. "Hello there, I am Y/N L/N and y'all will be training with me" You said. "I'm Tanjiro, that's Zenitsu and Inosuke" says the burgundy boy. "Very well, let's get training!" You said.

It's been about a month and you could see the improvement in Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu. You were mostly proud of Zenitsu who is slowly overcoming his timidness.

Thus, you decided to reward them with the cookies you baked. You had already packed the cookies nicely in packets, ready to be given out. However, it happened again.

Your Pov:

"Oh no... My cookies are stolen again" I mumbled. I sighed and grab an extra pack and headed out. "Boys! Break time!" I said and the boys immediately fell to the floor which made me giggled.

"Here, some cookies for you all" I said will giving then a packet each. "This is edible right?" An angry mark appeared in your forehead. "Inosuke, that's rude!" Tanjiro says.

Although it wasn't the first time you heard this from Inosuke, it still hurts your feelings. "Just eat or I'll really poison you!" I threatened. "C-Calm down geez" says Inosuke as he takes off his boar mask and began eating the cookies.

"After eating leave. It's end of training for the day" I said and prepared to leave. "Where are you going Y/N-san?" Tanjiro ask. "To Shinobu's place" I simply said and left to my destination.

I knock onto Shinobu's door and entered. "Shinobu-san, can I talk to you?" I ask. "Sure thing Y/N-chan" says Shinobu. You smiled and sat down beside her while she serve you tea. "Is something wrong?" Shinobu ask and you sighed.

"Shinobu-san, my cookies are stolen again and Valentine's Day is coming soon too!" I cried anime tears and Shinobu sweatdrops. "Calm down Y/N-chan, I'm sure we can find that cookie thief soon" Shinobu says.

"*sigh* If his cookies disappear again like every year, I'm done baking them" I said with a pout. "Now now Y/N-chan" says Shinobu and I sighed.

- Time Skip: Valentine's Day -

Today is Valentine's Day and I've baked just enough cookies for everyone. I know they say it's a lovers day or something but I have other things in mind.

I'd usually give out a packet of cookie to everyone in the Demon Slayer Corp. I smiled as I grab about 7 packets and went off to find the girls.

"Shinobu-san! Mitsuri-san!" I called. "Y/N-chan!" I smiled and handed them their cookies. "Valentine Cookies? Thank you Y/N-chan!" Mitsuri says while giving me a hug.

After that, I went to look for Kanao and gave her her packet. Next was Aoi, Sumi, Naho and Kiyo. After that, I headed back to the kitchen. I doubled checked the labels for the boys.

"Let's see... Tengen-san, Tomioka-kun, Shinazugawa brothers, Iguro-san, Tanjiro-kun, Zenitsu-kun, Rengoku-san, Inosuke, Himejima-san..." I stopped and started to panick.

"No... Not again?!" I cried. Muichiro's cookies were gone. I sobbed and sighed. I went to search out for the boys and gave them their cookies. I wasn't looking where I was going that I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Ouch... Sorry, I wasn't look— M-Muichiro!" I gasp when I realized it's Muichiro. "Y-Y/N" He says and you gasp. "Muichiro... Did you... Just call me by my name?" I ask.

"I remember now..." Muichiro mumbles and pulls me towards his chest. I was blushing like mad. "M-Muichiro?" I ask. "I'm sorry I've forgotten you" He says.

"Oyakata-sama told me you lost your memories after Yuichiro died" I said softly. "Yeah... I'm really sorry" he says. "I'm so glad you remembered" I said with tearing up.

"Thanks to your cookies I guess?" I gave a confuse look and gasp when I saw the cookie packet for Muichiro was already in his hands. "H-How? You're my cookie thief?!" I ask.

"Honestly... I was sort of... Jealous when you gave it to the others and not me. The more I ate these, my memories started coming back" says Muichiro. "Why didn't you tell me?" I ask.

"I... Couldn't. I'm sorry but your cookie taste sure hasn't changed" says Muichiro and I blushed. "Muichiro... I'm sorry I couldn't be there when Yuichiro died" I said.

"It's fine. As long as you're by my side, I should be fine" says Muichiro while giving me a hug and I smiled. "I love you Muichiro, since we were young" I said. "I love you too Y/N" Muichiro replies.

I would say, this year is the best Valentine I had in many years. Mainly because Muichiro remembered me and we confessed and we're now a couple.
