Obanai x Mitsuri Pt. 2

Mitsuri's Pov:

"Anyways, I'm Mitsuri Kanroji" I said. "I'm Yuri Kyoko" says the girl in front of me. "And I'm Sakura Hagane. Kanroji-san, how are we suppose to escape from here?" I smiled.

"You may not know this organization but my companion and I are from Demon Slayer Corp. We're not recognize by the government but we do our best to protect you all from demons" I said while examining the lock. "Demons? They exists?" Sakura ask.

"They do. They're really ruthless and cruel. That's why we're here to kill them and protect you all" I said. "Why do demons even exist?" I hear Yuri asking. "Even I don't know" I simply replied.

I had always wondered this myself. Why does Muzan Kibutsuji created so many demons? For what purpose? More like how did he became a demon in the first place? Oyakata-sama never told us.

Only one day after I became a Hashira, Oyakata-sama told me about the demon Lord Muzan Kibutsuji who js everyone's enemy. However, none of the pillars have yet to encounter him.

"Stay back" I told them. I then took out my Nichirin sword and slice the lock into half, much to the girl's shock. I smiled and did the same for the other jail cell. "Alright, follow me lead and stay together" I said and they nodded.

I lead them back to the outside and I noticed that we were underneath a cave. I could feel where Iguro-kun is. "I will be heading to where my companion is. It'll be dangerous so stay here" I said. "But Kanroji-san, we want to follow" says Yuri.

"But Yuri-" "Definitely you'll need back up so we will do our best to help you and tour companion!" Says Sakura. I was speechless. I couldn't say no to those fired determined eyes.

"Alright but if anything happened, run to safety immediately" I said. The girls nods and they followed me. I then hear voices. I smiled when I see Iguro-kun and the demon. "Iguro-kun!" I called.

And that was what happened. And back to main story, Iguro-kun called me 'Mitsuri'. What does it mean? But no time to be thinking about that!

"Girls, stay back" I told Yuri and Sakura and they went behind a tree. As long as they're safe, I can fight properly alongside Iguro-kun. "I'll assist you Iguro-kun! Breath of Love. First style. Shivers of First Love" I said and attacked the demon.

Normal Pov:

Obanai smiles and is determined to destroy the demon. One, for using her appearance and two, for kidnapping her. The two Hashiras worked together and after some injuries here and there, the demon was defeated by the sunlight.

Mitsuri and Obanai then sends the girls back to their home, much to their parents worry. Mitsuri smiles while Obanai blushed, suddenly remembering that he called her 'Mitsuri' rather than 'Kanroji'.

Some days later, Mitsuri couldn't take it. She's dying to know why did Obanai called her by her first name. She decided to go and look for Obanai.

Mitsuri arrives at Obanai's estate and she didn't bother knocking anymore since she actually comes here often. "I-Iguro-kun?" Mitsuri called but she didn't get any response. Thus, she roamed around, hoping to find the snake pillar.

She then enters Obanai's room but to her dismay, he wasn't around. Mitsuri sighs but nonetheless, she decided to clean his room since it was sort of messy. Just as Mitsuri finished cleaning, Obanai came.

"K-Kanroji?" Obanai ask. Mitsuri froze before sming sheepishly. "Hehe... Hi Iguro-kun" Obanai blushed and glance away from the girl while entering his room. "Why are you here?" Obanai ask.

"I've been wanting to ask you something" says Mitsuri. "What is it?" He ask. Though, he had an idea of what she may want to ask. "That day... W-Why did you call me by my first name? I-I am not angry or anything! I'm just... Curious!" Mitsuri ask.

However, Obanai couldn't answer even though it's the perfect chance to confess. 'Just tell her Obanai!' He tells himself. Obanai turns to Mitsuri and look at her in the eye which made Mitsuri flustered. "I-Iguro-kun?"

"Mitsuri... I like you" He says. Mitsuri's eyes widen. 'Is this a dream? Does someone finally love me?' Mitsuri questions and she started tearing up which scared the poor pillar. "W-Why are you crying? I'm sorry! D-Did I do something wrong?"

Mitsuri wipes her tears and smiles and hugs Obanai which calmed him down. "I'd never thought I'd be loved by someone. I thought I would die single" Mitsuri says. Obanai remained silent but wrap his arms around her.

"I love you. Will you be my girlfriend Mitsuri?" Obanai ask. Mitsuri smiles and kisses his cheek. "Definitely!!" Mitsuri cheers and Obanai was smiling through his mask. "That means... Am I allowed to call you 'Obanai'?" Mitsuri ask.

"Whichever you're comfortable with" says Obanai with a blush and Mitsuri giggles. "I was right. You are cute when you blush" She says. "Mitsuri, I love you" He says it for the second time.

Mitsuri happily replies back, "I love you too Obanai-kun!" Obanai then removes his mask and kissed Mitsuri on her lips which gave her a shock since he never took of his mask.

After kissing her, Obanai and Mitsuri stares at each other's eyes. And Mitsuri was studying his uncovered face. "So this is what you look like under that mask" says Mitsuri.

"I didn't want anyone else to know that I have snake scales and snake fangs. But I can assure you that I am a human" says Obanai and Mitsuri smiles. "Whichever race you are, I'll still love you" She says.

That made Obanai really happy, knowing that Mitsuri loves him for him and he loves Mitsuri for her. That day, Obanai made it official that he and Mitsuri were dating.

And Obanai becane quite an overprotective boyfriend and also partly a jealous type. He would glare at every guy who lands their eyes on Mitsuri. Mitsuri didn't mind since she thought that this side of him was cute.
