You, Genya and Sanemi have been friends since you were just mere babaies. That is because your parents were friends since their parents.

However, when Mrs Shinazugawa got attacked, she turned into a demon and killed everyone, including your family. Genya had hated his brother for killing their mother.

You were speechless. You didn't exactly blame Mrs Shinazugawa nor Sanemi. After that incident, the three of you had separated for who knows how long.

A year after your parents died, you stumbled across Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who is the Master of thr Demon Slayer Corp. He had offered you to become a demon slayer.

You had given a thought and eventually agreed, because you want to save people from being killed by demons. You were taught to use Breath of Snow which surprisingly, you had the potential.

After the Snow Hashira died on her mission, you took over her position and became a Hashira. What shocked you was some years later, you encountered Sanemi.

However, the Sanemi now was coldhearted and harsh. He wasn't the Sanemi you knew from your childhood days. You had no idea what happened to Genya too. Sanemi would just avoid you or ignore you.

You gave up talking to him but you still watch him from afar. Not that you had a crush on him but rather on his younger brother.

Years past and the current Hashiras left are Sanemi (Wind Hashira), Muichiro Tokito (Mist Hashira), Gyomei Himejima (Rock Hashira), Shinobu Kocho (Insect Hashira), Giyu Tomioka (Water Hashira), Kyojuro Rengoku (Flame Hashira), Mitsuri Kanroji (Love Hashira), Uzui Tengen (Sound Hashira) and Obanai Iguro (Serpent Hashira).

As of the recent news, you have heard that out of about 20 of the people, only 5 manage to pass the Final Selection. To which you are surprised, Genya was one of them.

The others be it Tanjiro Kamado, Inosuke Hashibira, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Kanao Tsuyuri. However, you didn't had the chance to encounter Genya because of your missions.

Your Pov:

"Y/N" I turn to see Shinobu by the door. "Hi Shinobu-chan!" I greeted. "Oyakata-sama has requested for Pillar Meeting" says Shinobu.

"Alright, will be there!" I said. After cleaning up the medical room, you went to the courtyard where the meeting is held. Just then, a Kaishiki came in with a box and a boy.

"Shinobu, what's going on?" I ask. "That boy,  Tanjiro Kamado has been travelling with a demon in his box" says Shinobu and I was shock. Travelling with a demon?

After all the Pillars arrive, the meeting begin. When the boy, Tanjiro had woken up, he was confused. I mean, who wouldn't be?

Anyways, I wasn't really paying attention because my mind sort of wandered but what surprised me was when Sanemi came up. He started slashing the demon inside the box with his katana.

"No stop! Stop attacking her!" Tanjiro cried. "Sanemi... What're you trying to do?" I ask and he scoffed. I gasp when Sanemi suddenly slash his arm with his katana.

Blood. My eyes widen. He's trying to lure the demon out and drink his blood. Sanemi you baka! Are you killing yourself?! I get that he's a Marechi and all but this is risky!

Obanai then tells Sanemi to do it in the shade and I glared at him. Just then, a girl appeared out of the box. "Nezuko!" Before Tanjiro could reach her, Obanai held him down.

I could see Nezuko drooling but she was resisting to bite Sanemi's arm. However rather, Nezuko looked away with disgust, much to our shock.

After some thinking, Oyakata-sama decided to allow Tanjiro to continue his travels with Nezuko, much to the latter's delight. Afterwards, we were dismissed.
