Tanjiro Kamado

"Y/N, stay in the house alright? I will be back soon" You nodded as you see your father, Sakonji Urokodaki left the house. Your father was formerly a Hashira, a Demon Slayer.

After he retired, he started having disciples but all, except Giyu Tomioka, died during the Final Selection. Giyu is the current Water Hashira and he's like a big brother to you.

You also use the Water Breathing technique and is expected to go for the Final Selection soon. However, your father didn't want you to go, in fear of losing you like how he lost his disciples.

Giyu was like a big brother to you and you were proud that he made it through but with the sacrifice of Sabito and Makomo. After that, Giyu is seldom home.

After your father left the house, you were starting to get bored so you decided to take a short nap. When you woke up, you were startled by a girl's face.

You back away but you realized that she's a demon, staring right into your eyes. "W-What's a demon doing here?! O-Otou-san!" You called while grabbing your katana.

The girl simply didn't do anything but for a moment, you saw her smile before she suddenly fell to the ground. You manage to catch her just in time. "What's with this demon?" You questioned.

You sighed. You then place the girl demon on the mat. "Hmm? She's asleep" You mumbled. "Y/N" You smiled and immediately went outside.

"Otou-san! Oh? Who's that? Nevermind that, there's a demon girl in there and-" "That demon girl has no harm" Your father cut you off. You had a confused look.

"She's my sister Nezuko and trsut me, Nezuko would never attack a human" says the boy who looked about your age. "Who're you?" You ask. "I'm Tanjiro Kamado" He says with a grin.

You blushed all of a sudden. "You'd be surprise Y/N but it was Giyu who told him to come to me" Your eyes widen. "Giyu-oniichan? Was it that crow? That was Giyu-oniichan?" You ask and Sakonji nods.

"Then hi there Tanjiro-san! I'm Y/N Urokodaki!" You said and shake his hand. "I hope we get along" says Tanjiro and you nodded.

- Time Skip: 2 Years Later -

Your Pov:

It's been about two years since Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko came to train with my father. I was also training as well to be part of the Final Selection coming up soon on Sagiri Mountain.

Although my father was still reluctant to let me attend. He didn't want to lose me like how he lost Sabito-oniichan and Makomo-chan. "Y/N!" I turn away from the dummy I was sparring at.

"Hey Tanjiro!" I smiled. "Y/N, your father told me to slice up some boulder down by the forest so I won't be back until I slice it" says Tanjiro. "Oh, that hard boulder. Good luck with that" I said.

"You're going too" Tanjiro and I turn to see my father. "Otou-san?" I questioned. "You're going with Tanjiro" he says and my jaw dropped.

And thus Tanjiro and I left for where the boulder is located. "How're we suppose to slice it?" Tanjiro questions. "Well... Let's try attack it?" I suggested in a questioning way.

After about 6 months, we still couldn't slice up the boulder. "Man, I'll never be in the Final Selection now" I mumbled. "It's not like you to give up Y/N" My eyes widen.

I turn and my eyes became teary. "S-Sabito-oniichan" I ran to him and gave him a hug. "Who are you?" Tanjiro ask. "Tanjiro, he's the Sabito-oniichan I told you about" I said.

"Oh... I'm Tanjiro" He says and Sabito-oniichan nods. "Good to meet you. Now get to training!" Says Sabito-oniichan and for the next few months, he trained us to slice that boulder.

Makomo-chan had came and I was delighted to see her even though she and Sabito-oniichan were dead. Soon, Tanjiro and I successfully sliced the boulder in half just when we defeated Sabito-oniichan.

We headed back and Nezuko was awaken from her 2 year slumber and Tanjiro was overjoyed. We were then off to our Final Selection.

We had encountered the demon that killed Sabito-oniichan and Makomo. The hand demon which Otou-san caught some years back. "You'll die today demon! Breath of Water. Fourth form. Striking Tide!" I said and went charging in.

However, the demon slap me away and I hit the tree. Blood spilled out of my mouth. "Y/N!" Tanjiro ran to my side. "T-Tanjiro, kill that demon for me. For Sabito-oniichan and Makomo-chan" I said.

"I'll protect you no matter what. I won't let the girl I love die!" Says Tanjiro and my eyes widen. Tanjiro... Loves me? Tanjiro turns to face the hand demon.

"Tanjiro..." I tried to stand and help him but my body failed me. I fell unconscious. When I woke up, I was back home. I immediately remembered what happened.

"Tanjiro!" I yelled. "Y/N!" I criwd with tears and immediately went to engulf him in a hug. "Thank god you're alive" I cried and Tanjiro return the hug.

"I said it didn't I? I won't let you die. I love you after all" says Tanjiro and I blushed. "I love you too Tanjiro" I mumbled and I felt him smiling. "Y/N. Tanjiro" We broke apart and we see Sabito-oniichan and Makomo-chan. "Sabito-oniichan, Makomo-chan!" I went to them but their body was glowing. "W-What's with your body?" I ask.

"Y/N, we got to go now that you and Tanjiro have avenge our deaths" says Makomo-chan. "Makomo-chan..." I started tearing up and hugged her glowing body. "Thanks for being my best friend" I said.

"We'll miss you" says Makomo-chan. "Tanjiro, Y/N is like a sister to me so take care of her" says Sabito-oniichan. "I will Sabito-san" says Tanjiro. "And if you two ever see Giyu, tell him that we'll be fine. Make sure he doesn't need to feel guilty of our deaths" says Sabito-oniichan. "I promise" I said and gave Sabito-oniichan a last hug.

Sabito-oniichan and Makomo-chan smiled at us before their body disappeared and I was sobbing. "Don't cry. Let's do our best as Demon Slayer" says Tanjiro and I nodded.

"Thanks for being by my side Tanjiro. I love you very much" I said and peck his cheek in which we both blushed but we were happy.
