Me:

Me:

Me:

KidWhoAteABathbomb:

Me:
You know you could have given me a heads up beforehand

KidWhoAteABathbomb:

Me:

KidWhoAteABathbomb:

Me:

KidWhoAteABathbomb:
Don't tell me what to do

Looks like I'm going to the store then.

_______

"Where are we going exactly?" I ask when we get on the road.

"Walmart." He replies plainly. Well shiz nits.

"Noooo," I wine. "Not Walmarrrrrt." I haven't been to Walmart in three years because I hate it so much. If I could go back in time, I would convince Sam Walton to be a librarian instead of a businessman.

"What did Walmart do to you?" he asked, scoffing.

"It's big and scary and dumb."

"Your face is big and scary and dumb."

I gasp dramatically and he laughs, making me giggle a little, too.

"Can't we just like, go to Harps or something?" (We're going to ignore the fact that Harps only exists in 3 specific states in the south cause I literally cannot think of other grocery stores right now)

"Do you think Harps has supplies for a frat party?"

"Oh, that's what we're doing?" Jared slows to a stop at a red light and turns to face me.

"Yeah. Why else would I bring you to the store with me?" He said, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know, maybe you were lonely. I make mom come to the store with me sometimes." I reply, crossing my arms.

He laughs and says, "Evan, that's sad."

"Your face is sad." It's his turn to gasp dramatically, and we both start laughing again. The light turns green and we're on our way again, the store now in sight.

"Quit bitching. We're going to Walmart."

"Ugh."

_______

"Jesus Fuck there are 15 billion people here," Jared said as we walk through the big doors. He wasn't wrong, the store was packed. Dear Lord.

"This is why I don't like Walmart." I point out. Jared ignores me and keeps talking.

"Is it some kind of special day or something?"
