"What are you doing on Christmas?" Luca asked me. "Are you leaving to visit your family?" He wondered as he handed me my T-shirt.
"Nope. I have no time to go, I gotta work." I explained making a face.
I buttoned my jeans and stared at him. He was focused on a point as he put on the rest of his clothes. We just woke up and yeah, as you can imagine, we slept together.
And not in the sense we used to before.
He didn't work today but he was going Christmas shopping with Josh.
Luca stared pensively, and I cleared my throat to snap him out of it. "Why?"
He licked his lips. "Ace invited me to have dinner with his family, but I thought since you and I had nowhere to go-"
"That sounds really sad." I chuckled.
"Well, you know what I mean. I can't go all the way to my aunt's house and neither do you to your sister's, so I thought we could have dinner together. If you want."
I smiled and nodded. "Sounds good to me."
He grinned like a little kid and approached me to give me a light kiss on my mouth. "You cook."
I rolled my eyes. "Of course."

Luca did those kind of things, without a warning. Just like that.
He kissed me in the middle of the street, he came home, we had sex, we had dinner and watched a movie. Then he treated me like a friend and start all over again.
He really was messing up with my head and I didn't know how long I could keep up with this.
When we were with his friends, it was the weirdest thing.
Like at that very moment. The velvet lounge was crowded with soccer followers. Real Madrid was playing against Barcelona.
Classic, as Luca would say.
People were scattered around, talking, drinking and watching the game. Some of them were not even watching it.
I was. Kind of.
Ace, Josh, Leo, Luca and I were sitting in a table. I was so nervous about it, I couldn't even pay attention to the big screen. Despite me liking soccer, the fact that Luca invited just with his friends made me anxious. For different kind of reasons:
1. I felt like I was intruding, not letting them have boy time.
2. The fact that Luca might like me that much that he wanted to invite me just with his friends.
3. A contradictory thought; he felt so comfortable around me, I was like a bro.
I sighed and stood up, needing the solitude that the bar could bring me.
"Where are you going?" Asked Luca, taking his eyes off the screen, grabbing my arm for me to turn to him.
"I want another beer. You guys want anything?" I asked, directing my gaze towards the rest of the group. They all shook their heads and I waved my arm for Luca to let go of me.
I didn't miss the weird look he gave me, before I turned around and walked towards the bar.
The bartender was watching me as I looked at the options I had in a chalkboard that hung on the wall.
"Can I get you something?"
"Mhm. How much is a bottle of Corona?"
"Seven."
