"I don't like it."

"What?"

"Us being mad."

"Then talk to him."

I stopped in my tracks and raised my hands. "Great idea, Martina. I hadn't thought of that."

"What?" She asked, pausing too, distracted by a florist.

"I called him like a hundred times. When he finally answered-" Martina took a flower and brought it to my nose, I sniffed it and shook my head. She shrugged and kept on looking at the flowers. "When he finally answered we had the weirdest conversation, and then we fought again."

"Why?" She payed the woman, finally deciding on a small bouquet of white flowers. "No one buys me flowers, so I buy them myself." Martina explained quickly.

I laughed and we resumed our walking, she gestured for me to continue. "He wanted me to apologize."

"And you didn't."

"No! I don't think I did anything wrong."

She stayed quiet. The streets were crowded, but her silence was noticeable under the mess.

"You think I should apologize."

"No."

"No?" I dodged a kid, who was running towards me in his way out of the park.

"No. I think you should both apologize."

"Well, I'm not." I scoffed. "I'm tired of chasing him. He should understand me. Whatever. We're going to Iceland in a week and it's gonna be heeella weird." I sighed and smiled tightly, putting my hands inside my pockets.

"Don't say that, I'm pretty sure you'll fix things sooner."

I sat nervously in the balcony, my new nails tapping against the small table, really following my mood. I stared at my phone. It stared at me back. Two days have passed since I hadn't talked with Luca. I admitted, I could be stubborn, but he really won the prize.

Grabbing the phone slowly, I looked for Luca's contact.

"Hello?"

"Hi, I'm Riley."

"Yeah, I know. I have your contact saved." He pointed out.

"Oh, of course."

"Did you-"

"I wanted to ask you..." I said at the same time. "Are you- are we still going to Iceland?"

"Yes." He paused. "Why?"

"I don't know, I thought we wouldn't since you're still mad at me." I twisted my mouth.

"I'm not missing that trip because of your stubbornness." He replied. "Are you gonna apologize?"

"Look." I narrowed my eyes. "If you didn't have that fucking attitude, I'm pretty sure I would've apologized a long time ago."

"Well, if you're not going to, I'm kind of in the middle of something. Goodbye babe, I'll pick you up at five pm on Friday."

"No need to-"

He hung up.
