I really want to dedicate this chapter to bjdp444 because he has read all the chapters, whether they were boring, bad or not, and constantly telling me that they are amazing, as much as I hate compliments. So it was thanks to him that you got this chapter today, so, yeah. Thanks bjdp444!

I stride down the hallways, trying to hold my tears in, the emotions rising within me, waiting to break free. I was not going to cry, I was not going to give Marco or Krissa the satisfaction of my tears. I was angry, sad, heartbroken, strong emotions that I really didn't want. I was still walking along the hallways so when I look up to see that I was right in front of Krissa's tower, I blanched, I shouldn't go up there but I really wanted to. I threw caution to the wind, opening the heavy door, climbing up the tower, I was panting by the time I reached the top.

"How does she do this every day?"

I mutter too my self, thankful that only Krissa comes up here and no-one else. Standing at the window I look out at the great sea, Palmako's armada on the horizon, anchors down, anticipating orders of attack that will never come. A thought crosses my mind, do I want them to attack or do I want them to leave? In an instant I know my answer. Grabbing a bowl from the side table I fill it with water from a spelled cold jug. I cast the calling spell to the lead ship's captain, within seconds he accepts. From the water in the bowl an image of the captain comes to view. The captain looks shocked for a moment before he plasters a a neutral expression on his face.

"Lady Debra, any news?"

I take a deep breath before pulling up my own neutral facial expression.

"Yes, Prince Marco asks that you start sailing the armada back to Palmako"

The captain nods, not even questioning the order.

"Of course M'lady, we will sail within the hour."

"Thank you captain"

With that I tip the water back into the jug causing the connection to immediately be broken. Looking around I see a comfortable chair under one of the windows, a perfect place to sit and rest. Without even thinking I make my way over and sit down, making myself comfortable. I rest my head on my arm and slowly I start to drift off.

...

"Long day?"

The voice of someone wakes me up from my slight nap. When I open my eyes I see Krissa standing in front of me, when I come to all my senses I shoot up from the chair, almost falling over in my rush. When I balance myself I look around and see that it is now dark, from the corner of my eye I spot movement at one of the windows. From the shadows Thomas emerges, perfectly fine and somewhat safe, I wasn't forgetting Krissa standing in the same room. With a quick thought of Krissa's mercy earlier, I curtsy deep, with my head bowed.

"Debra! Stop!"

Confused I look up at Krissa's horrified face.

"What?"

She rolls her eyes and regains her earlier composure.

"Don't bow to me, not when we are alone."

Thomas looks almost as confused as me however he also has a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Without a thought I connect our minds.

Thomas, what is going on?

Nothing sis, don't worry about it.

What are you planning Thom?

Nothing, I said don't worry.

Thomas Heart! Answer me right now, what are you planning?

Nothing that you need to worry about, I'm disconnecting now.

Wait what?

Your eyes have glazed over, she knows you're mind linking.

SHIT!

With a shake I remove myself from the conversation and look up into Krissa's eyes, a slight smirk is on her face and an amused twinkle is in her eye.

"How was your conversation with Thomas?"

"I... I don't know what you are talking about"

I stutter and curse myself silently, thoughts running through my head, what is going on? Krissa takes a step away from me and towards Thomas who has a neutral expression on his face even though there is an obvious expression of worry evident in his eyes.

"Thomas Heart, care to explain the plans that Debra doesn't need to worry about?"

Thomas's face goes red before paling but he still manages to keep his expression neutral.

"What are you going on about?"

Krissa turns back around with a smile focused towards me, her eyes narrow, locked on myown that are probably glistening nervously.

"Shit, is not a very lady like word Debra, I thought you were a lady.

Now it's my turn to go red and pale, I bow my head to try and hide it but that just causes Krissa to laugh.

"You both are hilarious"

I look back up and stare at her, I quickly regret it when I see that Krissa's face has gone stone cold and she is staring straight at me as if she were analysis my soul. After all, the eyes are the window to the soul.

"If either of you plan anything, if you try to leave the palace grounds without permission, I will personally see to it that you have the same fate as Prince Marco."

I take a gulp and nod my head as Thomas does the same. Seemingly satisfied, Krissa's face goes back to a relaxed neutral expression, a sign of amusement in her eyes.

"Well, now that that is cleared up, I will personally see to it that you are taken to your rooms."

I let out a noise of shock while Thomas stares at her, his eyes bugging out.

"Oh, didn't you realise? You are both under house arrest, however that means you can still stay in luxury, but, but this means that you will no longer be able to stay in the rooms that you occupied before."

I sigh in release, understanding now.

"Also, another thing, never, and I mean never, come back to this room again. If I find out you have, your fate could be worse than Prince Marco's."

Once again I am back to the nervous gulp, my hands fly to my neck. Krissa watches my reaction and smirks softly as she watches the blood drain from my face once again, immediately making me wary. She shakes it off then turns to Thomas.

"Follow me"

She turns back to me.

"You too, Debra"

And with that she turns on her heel and walks out the door, spiralling down the tower stairs, not stopping once.

Hey guys,

Sorry that it's been a while, I've been kinda busy with exams, and other activities but now I'm back with a new Debra chapter. This one was kinda a filler to help move the story forward to the next major plot on the line.

So anyways, hope you enjoyed it.
