*hey, there are a few massive paragraphs in this so sorry in advance for those who like small paragraphs☺

Taking a step back towards my brother, I watch as Maximum's and Krissa's swords meet at an Apex, clanging loudly in the clearing. Maximum pushes Krissa's sword away and goes to attempt another strike, once again being blocked by Krissa. He tries twice more but both times Krissa deflects his blade easily causing him to get frustrated. His next attack, while forceful lacks the finese that Krissa has so she easily defends before turning on the offensive, he sword moving so fast that it is just a blur.

Movement in the corner of my eye distracts me for a moment. A group of Meacambodian soldiers stand just behind the tree line, in the shadows. They all watch in awe as Krissa continues her attacks with, many years worth of practice, finese. Maximum's eyes are wide and he is panting heavily with the effort to just keep up while Krissa has barely even broken a sweat. The purity of her movements captivates me until more movement distracts me from the fight. Another round of soldiers surrounds the clearing, this time however they hail from Palmako.

When the two kingdom's soldiers see one another, not even the performance in front of them can stop them from ingaging in combat. The sounds of swords meeting swords sounds, everywhere you look soldiers are falling and more are taking their places, a constant stream of them. While I am sure Krissa and Maximum have noticed, neither has stopped their attack, instead they seem to have stepped it up. Krissa continues to be on the offensive while Maximum still struggles to defend, he was starting loose the original burst of adrenaline.

I walk backwards until I come in contact with a tree, trying my best to move away from the fighting. Musaria also seems to have a similar idea because as I look around I see him dragging himself by his arms to the edges of the clearing.

A horn sounds from the Amarda, a replying horn sounds from the great sea wall watchtower, within minutes the sounds of two armies crashing through the forrest are heard. Moments later I hear a scream come from Maximum's mouth. When I turn to look at him I see the queen's sword sticking out of his chest. She makes a move to retrieve the sword however for no reason she freezes and doesn't move for a while even though there is a battle around her.

When I look around I can see why, multiple soldiers have guns pointed at at her head. While guns are used in Aelia, most people see them as cheeting so we prefer swords. None of us had put it past Marco however, we all knew that he to cheet to even gain an advantage. Looking around the crowd of people I try to spot Marco but he is no where in sight.

"Surrender yet, Queen Krissandra"

I will rephrase that, he is here but I just can't see him. At Marco's call for surrender everyone stops fighting to wait for Krissa's response. I'm starting to think that these soldiers are dumb, this stalemate provides ample opportunity for one side to take out the other.

"I'm waiting Krissandra"

Marco calls out, his voice seeming to come from all directions.

"You won't know if what I say can be trusted unless we are looking eye to eye, Marco"

Krissa finally straightens and pivots on her heel, looking for Marco.

"Nice try Kris, but you won't fool me that easily"

Krissa just smirks and continues to pivot.

"Are you sure?"

In a flash of bright light, Krissa wisks us away from the clearing.

...

The teleportation makes me feel quesy and sick to the stomach, and I know I'm not the only one for I can hear multiple people start to throw up. When I am able to see again, I can see that Krissa only transported a selected few from the clearing while we have meeted up in the throne room with many more. Funnily enough it is snowing inside the room while outside we are still in the height of summer so only Krissa and her people are prepared in warmer clothing.

"Are you still so sure now, Marco?"

Marco only grumbles in response and whips out his sword, making many in the room raise their own.

"Now, now, Marco, it is only you against fifty guardsmen, we both know who is going to prevail"

Marco grumbles again but takes a step forward.

"Do your dirty work yourself, Krissandra"

Krissa only smirks at his anger.

"Don't worry, I plan too"

This time she raises a new sword from her other hip.

"They're not allowed to intervene"

Marco gestures to the guards around him.

"I don't think you are in a position to call the shots, Marco, however I agree. Stand down"

The last she orders to the guards surrounding them. Immediatly they all drop their swords back in their holders before taking a few steps back to give them room.

"Debra, care to start us off?"

For a while I thought that maybe they had forgotten about me so when Krissa directed her question to me, I almost jumped a foot into the air. Slowly I step forward, taking out a hanky from my bra, I look at both of them before speaking.

"Ready?"

They both nod, not taking their eyes off one another.

Slowly I release the hanky letting it float to the ground. As soon as the first corner touches it they are off.

Hey,

So, finally we have some good action. I'm sure you didn't expect Krissa to be such a good swordswomen, right? Well, surprise! Chapter 13! OMG!!!! Never thought I'd make it ☺

So, I might update tomorrow but if not I'm sure I will sometime this week. Also, a massive big thank you to those who have read from the start or given helpful comments, you guys are the best ☺
