Standing on the fortifications of the sea wall, I stay hidden in the shadows as I watch the Prince of Palmako adress his people. Their cheers sound through the silent air, heard only by the animals in the forrest and myself. Ten minutes ago I had ordered all of the guards to the other side of the watch tower so that I could be alone to listen to Marco.

I watch as he calls his captains and generals to his chambers, then he spins on his heal and walks through the gold leaf door. My eyes move to Debra Hale and they narrow slightly. That little spy, I trusted her more then anyone else even though we had only really spoken for the first time today. She hesitates for a moment, looking longingly at the gold leaf door before sighing and turning back around to walk down the stairs and onto the main deck, this makes me smirk. She walks through the crowd of hyped soldiers before making her way to the gang plank, walking down it until she reaches the shore. Instead of walking to the tents that are set up like I thought she would, she instead turns away from them and walks to the forrest, looking about before entering it's shadows.

...

Instinctively I follow her, walking along the sea wall until I reach the end where I climb down the stairs and walk towards the forrest. Hugging the shadows I make my way along the beach before finding the place that Debra had stepped through. It looked like ordinary vines making a sort of covered walkway. I look around before slipping through it.

The vine walkway continues for a while before abruptly ending in a large clearing, the size of my tower. Looking around I can't see anyone but I can however sense multiple people, one of them being Debra.

I take a breath preparing to walk into the clearing but before I can take a step four people walk into the clearing. Looking at their faces I see Debra, her brother Thomas, her husband Maximum and another man who looks similar to Max. Thomas is in chains and unconscious being held by the other two men who seem to be struggling. I watch and listen as they stop in the clearing to rest.

"I don't get it Debra, why the hell do we have to carry your twin unconscious and in chains?"

The man I don't know is yelling at her loudly.

"Shut up Musaria!"

This time it's Max who speaks while Debra levels a glare at the man.

"Because brother-in-law, Thomas is loyal to queen Krissandra and we can't have that because he is my brother!"

She moves to stand directly across from him while she hisses in his face. Without fail, the man lifts his hand and backslaps her face making both Debra and myself gasp. While Debra backs away the man and Maximum both turn towards me.

"Who's there?"

I freeze and try to slow my beating heart that's beating faster then before. Without thinking I call on a small amount of power to hide me, how I couldn't care. It ends up that I turn invisible and neither of the men can see me.

They relax and turn to Debra.

"If your brother is loyal to Meacambro then he might as well stay here."

Debra turns to look at Maximum in eye.

"But, he's my brother, I can't leave him."

Maximum growls before stalking up to her, instinctively she flinches as do I in anticipation, instead he grabs a hold of her right hand and pull the ring off her finger.

"Debra Hale, you are no longer my wife, you can go back to the streets, back to your Prince, I couldn't care less, but right now I have a queen to find"

Debra looks at Maximum before turning away, she crouches down to her brother and takes off the chains, pulling him over to a tree.

"You won't have to go far to find your queen Maximum."

Maximum and the other man look at Debra in confusion.

"What are you talking about? The last place she was seen she was on the sea wall, with the rest of the watchtower guards."

The man's confusion sounds clear as a speaks, Maximum however is looking at the smirk on Debra's face.

"What do you know Debra"

This time it's my cue, I step out into the clearing making sure that the invisibility I cast is still there before walking over to stand next to Debra. While I may not trust her, I was going to take every opportunity that I could. Waiting a moment before revealing myself, I take stock of my surroundings. Five main trees create the clearing, all of them standing tall and proud, the ground is carpeted with lush green grass, and the darkness of the shadows of the forest keep the clearing in permanet twilight during the day.

"Debra, I asked you a question"

When Maximum speaks again it snaps me out of my thoughts, I prepare to loose the invisibility.

"Not a lot according to you"

Debra fires back as I drop my invisibility, causes both men to jump. I smirk at their shocked expressions and walk forward until I am standing directly infront of Maximum.

"According to me however, she knows much more then we give her credit for."

While Maximum mulls over my words the other man is quick to pull his sword. In response I pull two daggers from their sheaths at my waist.

"I do believe that we haven't had the pleasure to meet, Krissandra."

I smirk at his formal tone while contemplating the fastest way to dispatch him.

"That we haven't"

I reply in short, waiting for my oppoutunity.

"I am lord Musaria Hale, the older brother, it is my pleasure to make your acquaintance."

He bows low taking his eyes off my weapons. Without hesitation I throw my first dagger straight into his thigh, the second following soon after, hitting his other thigh, rendering his legs useless. He gasps in shock before falling to the floor. In a flash Maximum whips out his sword, arching it up in a line to decapitate me. With a flick of my wrist my sword is in hand and before I know it the clang of our two swords can be heard throughout the silent clearing.

"Never attack a Hale, your majesty"

...
