Scott's POV:

Urgh... My head hurt. The back of my head was sore and it felt warm too.

"...t..."

huh?

"...ott..."

I must be hearing things, sounds like someone's--

"...scott... Scott!"

Avi? I picked my head up, held the back of my head and cringed at the pain in the back of my head. I looked at my hand... blood...

"you got h-hit in the b-back o-of the h-head..."

I sat up and looked towards the voice. Avi. He looked cold and scared. Who wouldn't be though if you were just kidnapped again and locked in a storage container about to be shipped to somewhere in the world--

Wait where am I?

I took a look around only to realise that I was also trapped in the container with him. I can't be in here.

"s-scott... you-- you have to untie me... please."

I stood as fast as I could without causing my head to implode and went towards him, untieing his hands and legs. He stood up and gripped onto me in a bone-crushing hug, tears streaming down his face and wetting my shirt as he sobbed. I hugged him back whilst shushing him before sitting down on the ledge of the car boot, rocking him back and forth in hopes of calming him.

His sobs quietened down before he picked his head up and wiped his tears before looking up at me and then around the container.

"we need to find a way out of here."

He looked at the back of my head and slightly, scrunched his face up.

"and clean up the back of your head too... here."

He picked up the cloth that was gagging his mouth and tied it around my neck the best he could, it looked like a necktie wrapped all the way around my neck and the lower part of my head covering the blood leakage on my head. He stood and looked around before his eyes landed on the doors, he looked back at me.

"we need to get out of here... i don't know how much longer we'll have to get out of here before we get shipped off to the desert..."

"the desert?"

He just looked at me.

"we need to hurry."

(3rd Person POV)

The rest were sat around the hospital, listening to the heart monitor beep as they waited for their concussed bandmate to wake up. The nurse walked in and they all looked to her for answers.

"He just has a mild concussion. He's ok otherwise, the bleeding has stopped and all that needs to happen now is for him to wake up."

Esther nodded and the nurse left the room, they heard a groan and someone shifting in the corner of their eyes.

"kevin?"

The man in the bed opened his eyes and looked around the room before attempting to sit up but being pushed back down by Esther and Kirstie, Mitch was sat in the chair furthest away from the bed staring down at the ground. Kirstie looked over at her friend and huffed in annoyance.

"Oh come on, Mitchell. Quit acting up."

Mitch looked up at Kirstie with dull brown, almost grey, red-rimmed puffy eyes. There were tears running down his face and some had dried leaving tear tracks. He had been silently crying since the car ride to the hospital and no one had noticed because all everyone cared about was Kevin waking up so they could find Avi. No one had said anything about Scott or Mitch once. That disheartened Mitch a whole lot. The feeling that not only was the love of your life missing... but nobody cared. He looked back down and Kirstie grumbled.

"You can at least say hi."

"well, i'm sorry that i'm the only one who cares about my missing fiancée here."

"Mitch, we care about him too--"

"i haven't heard a word about him since. I even argued with you all and tried to get you to see it from my perspective but what did you all say? huh? 'Kevin's our number one priority, Mitch.''We need Kevin to wake up so we can find Avi.' I'm not even sad about the fact that he's gone! It's that nONE OF YOU cArE! I AM SITTING HERE wEePiNg BECAUSE NONE OF YOU CARE ABOUT MY MISSING FIANCÉE AND THAT HE COULD BE dEaD!!!"

There was a collective silence as they watched the small brunette as he curled in on himself and cried some more. Kevin sat up and looked up at his friend.

"sorry... about... scott... mitch..."

"it's not your fault, kev. you did what you could."

"guys... we should be worried about scott too... we can't just ignore the fact that he's gone and get mad at mitch for feeling how he does. we're all focused on avi and no one has said a word about scott yet you're all getting mad when he feels sad that no one is looking for him. you can't do that to him, guys. it's not fair. we should look for scott too..."

They continued to sit in silence before Kirstie looked to Mitch.

"sorry, mishy... didn't know you felt that way."

"we should have considered your feelings."

"it's fine. i just miss him. i finally know how you feel, kevin."

Kevin smiled at his smaller bandmate.

"we'll get them back, i promise."

---

Loud banging sounded across the container field as Scott and Avi tried to throw open the container doors by slamming their bodies into it at the same time. They stopped after they realised it was no use.

"we need to find another way out... this isn't working."

Avi looked at Scott, watching him move back and lean in the corner of the container, his breathing quickening, muttering something under his breath.

"scott?"

"ican'tbehere..."

"scott calm down, ok?"

"i can't be here..."

"and i can?"

He crouched in front of the panicking man and watched as he struggled to catch his breath.

"i can't be here, avi... i have mitch and i don't know how he's coping or even if he knows about me. if i'm here, my situation... does he even know if i'm alive??"

His breathing only quickened.

"hey hey hey! none of that alright? you're ok. and that's all that matters ok? you are ok and you will be ok, you hear me?"

He had calmed by then and was now listening to Avi talk.

"yeah... thanks, avi..."

"you're welcome, scott..."
