"You lost him when you first hurt him. Many years ago."
"Stop It!"
"Why? Because I'm telling the truth? Like I've said before, He's worth more than you could ever give and provide for him. You're not worthy of him, Daniel you're not worthy of anyone!"
"STOP IT!"
And just like that. The first shot was fired.
-------------------------------------------------------That was where it began.
Daniel fired the first shot which triggered Kevin to fire, then one of the minions, officer PJ, the rest of the police, Daniel's minions, Esther, Kirstie and soon bullets were flying through the air. Shoot out. He had triggered a shoot out.
Esther:
Well... at least we're well prepared for this. Many police officers were surrounding the car meaning I didn't have to keep a constant lookout for bullets and I could look and see if I could spot Avi or Scott anywhere... they're just nowhere to be seen.
Scott:
We were looking over everything that was happening. The confrontation, the bullets flying through the air. Everyone was far too busy shooting except... Esther... she fired the occasional bullet or two but spent majority of the time looking she was around.
"what's esther doing?"
"i dunno."
I watched her closer and noticed her mouth moving. No one really knows this but I'm basically an expert at lip-reading. She leaned over to Kirstie.
I don't think they're anywhere near, Kirst.
Keep looking. They may be nearby...
Kirstie continued to shoot as Esther's eyes darted around. My gaze shifted to Avi as his eyes scanned the battlefield in front of us.
"us."
"what?"
"esther's looking for us."
"how do we get her attention?"
We looked around for a possible signal we could use to gain her attention.
"i can't see anything."
Avi brought his hands up to his face to rub at his eyes and there I saw it.
"ring..."
"what?"
"avi your ring."
"how come not yours?"
"my ring against the sand wouldn't really be visible, she might miss it or mistake it for a ray of sun that just so happened to hit the vent... your ring has black and it's engraved, if she sees the reflection of your ring, she'll notice the engravement and look up here."
He smiled at me, see, I told you I wasn't a dumb blonde, Mitch... I took his ringed hand and held it out towards the sun. The rays of light bouncing on and off his ring and onto the sand, hoping that it's seen, the black reflection nesting on the sand.
Esther:
I can't see them! I don't think they're near... I went back to shooting at the opposition, we had shot down 3 of his minions before he had called in an army of troops, who shot down 6 of our officers. A bullet flew past my head, just as I turned to fire back I saw it. A black-light projecting itself onto the sand, I looked down at it and repressed a smile.
Anual A Capella Championship
Avi's championship ring. That's the engravement inside. He's near. They're near. I began frantically searching for them before my eyes came across something. A vent. Glistening in the sunlight. I squinted, taking a closer look, my eyes meeting with a pair of glowing green eyes.
