Kirstie was laying in her bed, cuddling her dogs when her phone rang. The light illuminated the room as she checked the caller ID. Connie. Scott's mum. It was almost midnight. What could she possibly need?

"Hello?"

"Kirstin. I saw the news."

"The news...?"

"Scott and Avi being reported missing after 3 weeks. 3 weeks and no one told me. What happened, Kirst?"

"Avi was tackled into a car at the farmers market a month ago. We gathered some intel and tracked his phone to a shipping container field. Scott and Kevin went to go rescue him but Kevin got knocked out and Scott... We'll he found him but... I don't know what happened to him but they didn't make it back and now they're both in a shipping container going to wherever in the world they're being transported to... We almost made it, but the call disconnected before we could figure out their container but they were being picked up and I think they dropped the phone due to the impact of the container and the machine. We don't know where they're going but they've been moving for weeks... It's almost been a whole month."

She heard Connie sniffling on the other side of the line.

"Sorry, Connie."

"It's not your fault, dear. You did no wrong."

There was a silence before Connie spoke up.

"Well... thank you for informing me... Sorry for waking you."

"I wasn't asleep, just cuddling my doggies."

Kirstie chirped into the line scratching behind Pascal's ear.

"Ok then. Thank you again, Kirstin. Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

They cut the call and Kirstie looked to her dogs, stroking Olaf's belly.

"were could these mean people be taking your uncles...?"

There was no response as she kissed all their heads and drifted to sleep with her dogs curled up with her.
