Chapter One

(Kat's POV)

As I finished up my last quiz on my homeschooling career, thoughts ran through my mind. What would real school be like? Would the kids like me? They had to, my twin brother Vinny is hands down the most popular kid in New Jersey. Every guy wanted to be him, and every girl wanted to date him. And I was just lucky enough to live with him. I finished up, just in time to hear Bianca and Vinny coming in from the bus. "Hello my lovelies!" I smiled, and hugged them both, Al doing the same. "How was your last day of school?" "Great! I'm so excited for tonight... You finally get to meet my dance crew..." Vinny did his little happy dance. Oh my God, how do people like this boy.. He's sucha weirdo. See, Vinny's dance crew, the ICONic Boyz or some shit like that, they auditioned for ABDC last year, but didn't make it on to the show. They were so dissapointed, but they're not giving up. They still believe they'll be famous.. Someday. I've never met any of them, they've slept over before, but I'm always cooped up in my room studying. See, I chose to be homeschooled because the whole leaving home thing didn't work well for me.. I get really bad anxiety when I'm away from my mom. Now, my brother, complete opposite of me. He's the social butterfly, he did basically everything. Everyone knew who he was. Now, with me, I'm not even sure if any of this town knows I exist. But, tonight I'd be making my big break. and starting next year, for tenth grade, I'll be going to real school. Eeep. Vinny said he'd protect me, and I finally believed him enough to try it out. It couldn't hurt, right? Besides, don't get me wrong, I love my mama, but just seeing her all the time actually is beginning to sicken me. "Okay Kat. Let's go over a few things, they're really nice guys.... Except this one boy named Madison can kind of be a douche at times. So, stay away from him, as much as you can. I don't need him hurting you..." Vinny said. "Aweee." Al and Bi cooed, and I did too. Vinny is super protective over all three of us, which is weird since he's the baby. I was born three minutes before him, hollaaa. I laughed, and hugged him. "I gotchuuuu." "Good! Tonight is gonna be GRAND!" He smiled. I laughed. I was actually really excited. I finally get to meet the "boyz"....
