<Johnny Cade's P.O.V.>
He knew it, Dally knew it...Dal knew he was gonna cheat on me, he even told me he might...but I didn't think he'd actually go on and do it! Dally came to see me on a Friday night, he said he'd see me at 8:00pm...and it was 11:00pm. Dally's hair was a mess and half his clothes were actually on him! So that's how I found out...Dallas Winston, my best friend, has cheated on me. When I saw Dally like that, I ran quickly to the Curtis' house, I knew Sodapop or Darry had to have been through something like this. I needed to talk to one of them. It was almost midnight, yet, I didn't care. I ran up to the door, I know it was always unlocked...I knocked anyways. A very tired Ponyboy answered the door "Johnny Cade, what the heck are ya doin' here..?" Pony yawned as he asked. "I-Is Darry or Sodapop awake..?" I stuttered, I needed to talk to one of them. "Umm no...well, actually Darry is is workin' night shifts this week and Soda just went out for a walk, why? W-Whats goin' on Johnny..?" Shoot..."Nothin', I'm heading to Two-Bit's" Two always helped me out, I could count on him for a lot of things, I dunno why, But I could. I rushed to Two-Bit's house and I knocked on the door, Hard. Two-Bit opened the door, I could hear Mickey Mouse playing in the background, like usual, I was breathing hard from all the running, I needed to catch my breath. "Hey kid, what are ya doin' here this late, kiddo? I felt warm streams of tears running down my face. I always thought crying wasn't tuff, so I never really cried, Especially around Two-Bit, I thought he never cared, but I was wrong..."Johnny..? What's Wrong, kid???" I couldn't respond, I felt myself lean on Two-Bit, I cried harder.
