1988
—The year has changed, I just thought I'd let you know, also a new character will be introduced.
—SINCE HIS SISTERS DEATH, Zander Myller had been trying to find out everything he could on Redwood.
He even tried talking to Brooke Thompson, who apparently massacred everyone.
But he got nothing.
He wanted so badly to go to Redwood and find out, so he did.
—
The car ride there was silent, only the sound of the radio playing in the background.
He saw a few signs that had been graffitied on the way, saying terrible things about Redwood.
When he pulled up to the big entrance sign, his nerves kicked in.
He didn't want to find something he didn't intend to.
—
He parked his car and stepped out, feeling the nice summer breeze.
If only Charlie were there to feel it with him.
He walked towards the cabins, ready to inspect them, when someone jumped on him, tackling him.
"Hm, he looks good enough, let's kill him." A recognizable girls voice said.
"Montana?" he questioned, she was dead, wasn't she?
"Oh my god, Zander!" she hopped off of him and helped him up, pulling him into a hug.
"B-But how are you here?" he asked.
"I'm a ghost" she laughed "Never thought I'd be saying that to you" she said and smiled.
"Your sister is here too" Montana said and lead Zander through the thick brush, to picnic tables.
There Charlie sat, her head in her hands,
sobs coming from her."Hold on" Montana said and walked over to Charlie, finding out what was wrong.
"She does this almost everyday, she's hurting," she whispered to Zander, shocking him.
"Hurting?" He said and felt a presence behind him.
"She misses her family" a man said from behind him.
"I'm here to apologize also, I said some hurtful things earlier" it was Chet.
After Chet had done what he needed to and calmed Charlie down, Zander walked over to her.
"Hey Charles," and Charlie looked up at the sound of her old nickname.
"Zander..." she said as a smile crept up onto her face.
She stood to her feet and pulled him into a hug.
"I missed you, so much" he said, tears brimming his eyes.
"I know bud, I know," she said, she had missed him too, a lot.
"but you need to leave" she continued and he gave her a confused look.
"The others, they'll kill you if you stay" she said.
"I-I okay..." he said frantically.
"I'll ride with you out, but I'll disappear once you get out of here" she said, wanting to protect him.
—
Zander got into the car, along with Charlie.
"How are Mom and Dad?" she asked.
"Dad passed away last year from brain cancer, and mom is doing well" he said.
It pained Charlie to know her dad had passed.
"It's been so hard without you" he said, approaching the entrance.
"Tell Mom that I love her." she said knowing she would disappear.
"I love you Zander" she smiled with tears in her eyes.
"I love you too Charlie" he said before she vanished.
"I'll miss you"
