"H-How is he alive? I thought Jingles..." Charlie said as she stood, her eyes wide in realization.
"I-I don't know" Chet said in an attempt to reassure her.
Montana, however, was doing just fine. The love of her life had come back, and she was going to see him one way or another.
It took a lot in Charlie to forgive Trevor for what he did, but she mentally made the decision to do so.
Margaret was planning a music festival, which none of the other ghosts were going to let happen, considering it would avenge their deaths.
Xavier and Chet held a key role in planning the whole thing, Chet wanting to drown Margaret, so she would know what it's like.
Charlie felt much better than before, Chet helped her stay, and now they were an official couple.
It made Charlie giddy inside just thinking about Chet, he truly made her the happiest she'd been, and vice versa.
The music festival didn't go to plan of course, Brooke returning. Charlie was surprised to say the least, she had thought Brooke was dead.
All of the ghosts banded together to help kill Margaret, Charlie being the one who beheaded her.
Trevor has ended up dying at camp before Margaret did, and to say Chet was fine with that was an understatement.
He was very hostile towards Trevor, despite Charlie's pleas to forgive him, like she did herself.
Chet eventually learned to like Trevor, still holding an impending grudge on him.
Although Bertie was trying to get into Chet's pants constantly, Charlie kept her cool. She didn't want to upset Chet.
The day after everything happened with the Music Festival, Chet and Charlie went about on their nightly calm routine.
"What does that one look like?" Charlie asked, pointing up at the bright sky.
"It looks like a boot" Chet said and looked over at Charlie, soaking in her beauty.
"What's your favorite thing to do here Chet?" Charlie asked with curiosity laced in her voice.
"I love watching Clouds with you"
