Larry had received a distress signal from the city hall. The mayor sounded frantic, saying that something horrible was happening, yadda yadda yadda. Larry due to experience had begun to tell him off.
"Kyle I need you to understand that the hot wheels line is for emergencies NOT missing combovers"
The mayor got a little red in the face.
"It's not that city hall is under attack, we need team hot wheels. Please... I will call Mara if I need to" Larry shook his head.
"She won't care and you know that"
"She'll care about this"
Larry cocked an eyebrow.
"And what would that be"
The camera moved until it stilled at a window. Outside the city hall was group of men waving guns around willy nilly.
shit.
Shit.
SHIT!
Larry stared at the screen with eyes the size of saucers. He slammed his forehead down onto the desk.
"Mara's gonna kill me for this, ok ok Kyle I'll send the boys out" the mayor didn't even get a word in before Larry hung up.
Heading over to the door he paused. He hesitated. He knew.
"Larry you should accept the fact that you will die doing the right thing" he opened the door. He froze. Brandon was holding the death card. They knew.
"Boys we have a problem" they turned towards him. Wyatt pulled off his hat and scratched the back of his neck.
"City hall is under attack by some psycho idiots and we need you out there" he scanned their eyes.
Brandon's face forms into a look of confusion.
"Ok so how psycho we talking hear"
The mechanic looked him dead in the eyes.
"Idiotically"

Brandon was rambling, it went well with the roar of the engines.
"Why the heck would they sell huge guns to people with no license, especiallyafter the school went into lock down" the other three just stared blankly at the road in front of them.
"Brandon, some shops here don't ask"
The gadget guy threw his hands in the air.
"So... that doesn't mean they should be selling big guns like that, it be safer to sell... pistols or just the amo"
Wyatt could be heard laughing, Rhett facepalmed.
"Ok so big guns are a no-no but the ammunition and pistols are all like, ok green light go on ahead"
...
"Shut up Rhett I'm flustered"
The red-clad driver rolled his eyes.
"Yuh-huh sure"

The closer they got the darker the clouds. Pulling up to the city hall the boys exited their cars. Surrounding the area was a field of fire and smoke, these guys obviously had fun. However dispite the fire infront of them the air was surprisingly cold.
"Holy jeez it's freezing out here" Wyatt shivered from the wind blowing past him.
"Well maybe you should change your uniform then" Brandon was smucked upside the head.
The smoke began to dissipate. The more it separated the more they could see. Finally, it was just them, and a group of men. The center one stepped forward.
He grinned, several pearly white teeth poking out the gums like knives. His lips cracked as they curled up into a malicious sneer.
His pupils appeared to shrink down to insanity levels of wrong. The people beside him looked the same.
"Hello" his voice sounded hoarse as if he had swallowed a gallon of nails before bed at night. The underlying English tone was hard to miss.
"My name is Matt and these are my compatriots, a pleasure to meet you" he half bowed extending his hand out. Gage didn't move.
"Uh I'm green, this is yellow, red, and blue. We are team hot wheels"
Matt straightened up, a grimace graced his lips.
"Oh, so you're the goody-two-shoes everyone is talking about"
Gage scratched his neck.
"Well I wouldn't say goody two shoes really more like heroes"
Matt shrugged, his quizzical smirk was replaced by one of murderous intent.
"Either way you're being nice eyugh just saying the word brings a sour taste to my mouth, it's no fun really"
Wyatt stepped forward, a displeased look on his face he shook a fist at the elder man.
"How is keeping innocent people safe and alive no fun y'jackass" the man chuckled a deep throaty chuckle. His chuckling turned to cackling.
"I don't like nice really, I prefer death and torture, the screams are lovely oh but the sexual torture aswell. Ooh, the gasps and moans are truly delightful" Wyatt growled.
"You listen here you sack of jackass horse shit, don't you even fucking think about touching a single person here, or you'll be sorry"
Matt tilted his head, his eyelids drooping about halfway.
"I don't like your attitude child"
Gage grabbed his friend's shoulders. He leaned in and whispered.
"Wyatt I know what you're thinking. Don't. Do. It"
The yellow driver waved him off.
"Yeah well I don't like your face dumbass, where did you get your makeup done a garbage heap"
Gage called after Wyatt. He didn't sound amused.
"Show some respect to your elder's child, didn't your parents teach you any manners"
...
Oh...
...
Shit.
Despite Gage's warnings Wyatt flipped him the bird and cussed in the guys face. The older man's expression morphed into a scowl. His hand tightened around the gun.
"I'll show you how to behave boy, nobody talks to me that way. NOBODY" he cocked the gun and fired.

There was a scream.

There was blood.

There was laughing.

For once Gage wasn't fast enough.
