Talk to the hand

After patrol one Friday evening, I was really tired. Well, more tired than usual. I had stopped two armed robberies, one fire and a few muggings. I slumped onto the couch and saw a glass of water on the bench-top. I was absolutely parched, so I swallowed the water in one gulp. Something tasted off...

No-Ones POV

Wanda strolled into the room, and almost screamed when she saw the two-year old, curly brown haired boy sitting on the couch. Her eyes widened then narrowed. The boy looked familiar.

"Peter?" She asked tentatively.

"Wanba!" He giggled .

"What happened?" She asked while tickling Peters stomach, which earnt her a few more adorable giggles.

"Bad wadder" Peter answered, pointing at the empty glass of water and staring at Wanda with those adorably innocent eyes. Wanda laughed as Tony ran into the room, "DADA", the boy yelled.

"Has anyone seen-" His eyes flicked back and forth from Wanda to Peter to the empty glass of whatever-was-in-the-glass.

He grinned at Peter and said, "You look just like you were when that lady brought you. You were so adorable back then, and not as chatty. Those were good times. F.R.I.D.A.Y, take a picture and put it on my gallery. I'll be back with the antidote, DON'T do anything stupid,"

Wanda set Peter on the floor then went to the training room to tell everyone what had happened. She checked behind her to see if Peter was following her, and doubted the talkative boy would be any different when he was a baby, so assumed she would hear him before she saw him. Little did she know that Peter had just discovered (much to his delight) that he could walk on the walls and roof. So, the very intelligent 3 year old silently followed Wanda all the way to the training room.

"You will not BELIEVE what just happened. Peter just drank the stuff that Hulk was experimenting with and now he's a baby, and he's so adorable!" Wanda squealed.

"Any chance the baby on the roof right now is Peter?" Sam asked, pointing to Peter, who had just let out another giggle.

"Peter, come down," Natasha said quietly, knowing that Peter heard her due to his enhanced hearing. The boy giggled then jumped into her arms. All the avengers passed the little boy around, completely forgetting to tease him because he was so cute. She smiled and carried him to Tony's lab, and everyone else was taking pictures of Peter: they had never seen him when he was young.

Natasha reached the lab just as Tony was walking out, and he gave her the antidote, but only after he had taken a few pictures to embarrass Peter (it was for the memories). They set Peter on the couch and when he was back in his normal state, he rubbed his eyes.

"I just had the weirdest...dream?" Peter asked hopefully, praying that what he remembered was not true. Tony simply grinned and showed him the pictures. Peter groaned and buried his face into the pillow.

*Flashback*

One evening, Peter and his father, Tony Stark, were playing in the lab. Tony was trying to figure out a new core for his arc reactor and nothing seemed to be working. Suddenly, the two heard a crash in the living room, and Pepper screamed.

There are a few types of screams. A scream of joy, where you are terrified yet loving it, a scream of happiness, where you are so happy you can't contain it, and a scream of pure terror.

Pepper had unfortunately screamed the scream of pure terror.

Tony called out Mark 78 and the pair ran downstairs. There was an armed man in the doorway, and it looked like he had tried to shoot Pepper.
