~Laundry~

Emma's POV

I had to do laundry. This was one of my least favorite parts of being an adult. Like who fucking decided that washing your clothes is "basic hygiene"? If I want to wear the same shirt 3 days in a row, then I will do so, Karen!

Seriously though I was running out of clean clothes and it was becoming a problem.

You'd think ever since I moved into my apartment I'd do laundry more often since I actually have my own washing machine, but no! The laundry room is at the end of the hall and that's a long way from my bed.

So, here I sit in the same pair of sweat pants and sweatshirt that I've been wearing for 3 days, editing next weeks video. I glance over at the dirty hamper in the corner of my bed room and roll my eyes. I was gonna go put it in the wash I swear! But it was just too far and I know I'm not going anywhere anytime soon-Oh and look I got a text!

E💙: Hey

Em💕: Hey

E💙: Wanna go shopping or something? I'm bored.

Em💕: No, you know what happens every time I take you shopping: you bitch and whine like a small child. Plus, I don't have anymore clean clothes and the washing machine is too far from my bed.

E💙: I would call you lazy, but I'd do the same until Gray would do it. I'm coming over.

Em💕: m'kay see ya in a bit.

Normal girls would probably start to panic if their boyfriend said he was coming over and she looked like a literal hobo, but I've made it clear to Ethan that us dating would make me care even less.

About 15 minutes after E texted me, I heard the front door open. (I gave Ethan a key when I moved into my new apartment, so I knew it wasn't a murderer.)

"What's up?" Ethan said as he sat down on the foot of the bed.

"Nothing much, just procrastinating that," I motioned to the overflowing hamper in the corner.

"Sounds like a blast," he chuckled sarcastically.

"Why'd you even come over?" I questioned, "There's not much to do other than laundry."

He smiled at my joke and scooted next to me, "To see you. And, anything is better than listening to Gray yell at me for not doing the dishes."

"Touché, wanna watch stranger things or something?" I suggested, not knowing what else we could do.

"That works," E said, moving so that the sides of our bodies were pressed together.

I turned on Netflix and clicked Stranger Things. I laid my head on Ethan's shoulder and he swung an arm over mine. I yawned and began to watch as the red letters spelling out "Stranger Things" appeared on screen.

Ethan's POV

Emma and I were watching silently when I felt the weight on my shoulder get heavier. I looked over at Emma to see her eyes shut and soft snores coming from her mouth. I brushed a piece of her hair out of her face, placed a kiss on her forehead, and carefully pulled her off my shoulder, onto her pillow.

I thought of what I could do while Emma was asleep, and got a good idea. I hopped off her bed, grabbed her overflowing hamper, and headed to the laundry room.

Once I put all of the clothes in the wash I headed back to her room, climbed back into the bed, and eventually fell asleep with my arms around Emma.

I promised I'd get a new chapter out today and here it is! I know it's probably not my best work, but I still think it's cute! I only know how to write tooth-rotting fluff, so that's what you guys are gonna get, SUE ME! Anyway, I can't express how much I appreciate the support you guys have shown me for this book! I love you all, xoxo. <3 -Avery (She has a name?!?! *gasp*) (I'm sure you guys could probably guess from my username, but whatever.)
