The night passes by gradually, disconcertingly. I kept imagining that damned clown, or even rogue walkers. I didn't dare leave the newcomers.

Partly because I was absolutely terrified, and partly because I don't want anything to happen to them if I got up and checked it out.

I'm assuming I was having delusions again, and it's all because of It.

It loves to toy with me, especially at night.

Everyone slowly wakes up and my eyes are still glued to the tree-line. The fire had burned out at this point, actually a while ago, but it's not like we need it now.

"YN?" a voice calls, and I blink a few times, returning to reality.

I recognize the voice as a Stanley's. I look to him, "Yeah?"

"Are you alright?" he inquires, and now everybody pays attention. "You were staring at nothing for a few minutes."

I glance around before answering. "I'm fine, Stan. Thanks. Just lost in thought."

"S-S-Speaking of th-thought," Bill starts, "you d-didn't wake me u-up l-last n-n-night?"

"Practice," was my response.

Bill slowly nods, unsure if he should keep digging for answers. He seemingly decides against this action.

"Guys." We look to Eddie, who continues, "We're running low on supplies. We need to go on a run pretty soon."

"I'll go," I volunteer, and they look at me in surprise. I shrug, "What? I might as well."

"C-Count me i-in," Bill adds, nodding to me.

I nod back in appreciation.

"I'll go as well," Mike offers, brushing himself off after standing. "I haven't taken my turn in a while."

"It's settled then," Richie claps his hands together. "Do we just wait here or what?"

"I've got a place," I speak up. "It ain't far from 'ere, either."

"Let's go, then!" Bev states.

I take them to the designated area and make sure Bill and Mike know how to get here quickly in case things don't go as planned.

"I spotted a town nearby the other day," I announce. "Looked empty enough to scavenge in."

"Wait," Bev sets a hand on my shoulder. "Does this mean you're joining our group?"

I hesitate, and everyone is giving me wishful eyes. I sigh at them, a small smirk appearing on my face. "I reckon so."

They all silently cheer before we review the plan again, as well as the routes to get back. Once we're finished and I'm sure that my partners know everything like the back of their hands, I lead them to our next destination.

"Bev's in charge," I call behind my shoulder at the rest of the group, and I chuckle a little at hearing them bicker.

Mainly because of Richie being "offended."
