Chapter Twenty-five: Back to school...

Angel's POV

The rest of our week after Monday was boring. We mainly sat around at home, or went out some days just to be outside. Nothing happened Annihilator wise either, so we really had a boring week.

Now though, it was Monday again, and this time we were back in school. I definitely dreaded coming back after sleeping in for a week. That was the best sleep I had gotten in a while.

I dreaded dance class today, because I knew we'd be working on something and it would be something hard. I really tried to walk slow to class that way I could prolong my suffering, but oh did that plan fail.

"Hey Angel! You better hurry up before you're late to class," Daehwi said to me. He walked beside me at the same slow pace I was, and I looked at him. He had a smile on his face, the same one he usually had, and I shook my head internally.

"I know. I want to be late. That way I won't have to suffer that long," I explained. "Oh but hi. How have you been?" I asked.

"Oh I've been fine, been working and stuff and trying to make sure my grades stay up. Just been doing the usual," Daehwi responded and I nodded. "What about you?"

"Eh, I haven't done nothing but sleep since Monday really."

"Awe you should've told me, we could've done something one day," Daehwi said.

"Awe man. Next break we have to hangout," I said, and Daehwi nodded. We continued to walk in silence until reaching our dance class, and music could be heard from outside the door.

"I'm dreading going in," I groaned.

"May God be with us," Daehwi sighed, and I snorted before going into class.

"My body hurts," I whined after dance class.

"Ours hurt too," Grace said.

"You guys are babies," Jisung laughed, and I rolled my eyes.

"Are not," I mumbled.

"I hope they have good lunch choices today," Justice thought out loud.

"I doubt it. It's Monday and it's the first day back to school," Daehwi pointed out.

"That just makes me not want to eat lunch," I huffed.

"You will eat though," Grace commaned.

"Yes mom, I will," I joked with a grin. We all walked into the cafeteria and got in line to get whatever food they had today. The choices were burgers, salad, or noodles. Very diverse today.

"Do you think the burgers are good enough to eat today?" I asked Daehwi and looked back at him. He hummed before shrugging.

"I mean, people seem to be eating it just fine," he said. I looked back at the burgers, and got a queasy feeling in my stomach.

"I think I'm going to go for the noodles," I said.

"Yeah me too," Grace nodded. Jisung and Justice both got burgers, and Daehwi ended up grabbing a salad.

"Daehwi, wanna sit with us today?" I asked before we walked off.

"Um sure? If that's fine with you," he replied.
