Chapter Seventeen: Human like...

Angel's POV

"So what's the news?" Jasmine asked when we got home. We all sat or laid down on the couches around Justice as she sat in the middle.

"So, as I was going to class I happened to over hear some things about us," Justice said.

"People talk about us at school? Who?" Zoe asked.

"I don't think they talk about us as humans. They talk about us as fairy princesses," Kai explained, and Justice nodded.

"Correct! So I heard them saying that they have to find us soon, because their boss is mad, and they're planning on attacking during school one day. That way they can kind of find us easier," Justice explained.

"Wow. Seems like we really got under his skin," Crystal said.

"I think Angel did really," Jasmine commented, and I got an uneasy feeling.

"Don't worry Angel, I'm pretty sure he's still after us all, seeing as we all are trying to stop him," Marie assured, and I nodded while gulping.

"Anyways, I wanted to see who it was, but I was a bit nervous. I did manage to catch a glimpse of a few of them, and I saw the other Kai, Taehyun, and Yeonjun. I did hear five voices, so I assume that the other two were there too."

"Awe man, Yeonjun was kind of cute," I mumbled.

"Well now we know who not to trust," Grace said.

"Yeah, but now we have to be on high alert at all times around them. If they're planning on attacking during school hours anyone else who's working for him may notice us missing," Jasmine said.

"You're right. We need a cover," Justice nodded.

"But what could we say? All eight of us happened to have appointments at the same time? That wouldn't be logical," Crystal pointed out.

"It's five of them right? So how about two or three stay at school while it's happening, and then if anyone asks, those two can say we all hid out in the girls bathroom or something," Kai suggested.

"That could work, but who would stay?" Grace asked.

"I think one of us older ones need to stay back with the two youngest," Jasmine said.

"So who would be best staying back?" Marie asked.

"Stats and power wise, it would be smart to leave Justice behind, but since she has healing and mimicry we could really need her out in the fight. Plus she's like our leader. I don't think I'm one to stay back. Crystal could, but her elemental powers can really come in handy," Kai thought out loud.

"So I'll do it then," Jasmine said. "I'm more leader like so I'll be able to watch them, and if anything happens, I'll be there."

"You sure?" Justice asked, and Jasmine nodded.

"Okay then it's settled. If they ever attack during school hours, Justice, Grace, Kai, Marie, and I will go out and fight while Jasmine, Angel, and Zoe stay at school," Crystal said.

"We won't have anyone with speed to check for us though," Grace gasped.

"It's okay, Justice can take Zoe's power for that time," Marie stated.

"Yeah. And hopefully they don't do it too far away from school," Justice said.

"Hey, wouldn't it be smart for us to have your phones too? Just in case someone from school texts asking where you are?" I questioned.
