Chapter Thirty-Two: Lady and the jerk...

Marie's POV

"Guys! Can you believe Valentine's day is next week?" Haechan asked us all at lunch, and I looked up from my tray.

"Can you believe Kai turns eighteen next week?" Justice asked back. It's kind of cool how her birthday just happens to be on Valentine's day.

"Not really, but I can't wait," Haechan grinned.

"I love how he's more excited for my birthday than I am," Kai commented.

"What do you want to do for your birthday speaking of that?" Grace asked, and Kai shrugged.

"As of right now, I don't know, but I do want to do something," she replied.

"Don't worry, her sunshine will make her birthday the best ever," Haechan said, and I shook my head. That man and his confidence level is just something else.

"Does your confidence level ever falter? Like ever?" Jasmine asked Haechan.

"Naw. I always have and always will have high confidence," Haechan said.

"Yeah we can see that," Angel nodded.

"Are you being sarcastic?" Haechan asked Angel, and she gave him a blank look.

"No, I'm being dumb," she deadpanned.

"Oh yeah, that reminds me," Winwin gasped, and I looked at him. "Do you want something for Valentine's day?" He asked.

"Aren't you supposed to plan that without me knowing?" I asked back, and Winwin stared blankly at me.

"Huh. Maybe I am," he muttered while looking off in thought, and I snorted. "Well whatever, I'll try better next year," Winwin brushed off.

Next year... we'll definitely be gone by then...

"I'll look forward to that then," I decided to say as I smiled at Winwin.

"Do you want anything though?" Winwin asked again, and I shrugged.

"Are you planning something for that day?" I decided to ask instead as I smiled.

"I don't know," Winwin shrugged, and my smile left. Winwin laughed as I frowned at him, then proceeded to put his arm over the back of my chair. "Maybe I am planning something, maybe not. You won't know though," Winwin said.

"Awe, but that's no fun," I whined.

"Babe, you just said I'm supposed to keep it secret from you not too long ago," Winwin laughed.

"Well.... that was then, and this is now," I said, and Winwin shook his head while taking a sip of his water. "So are you going to tell me?"

"Nope," Winwin replied.

"Awe," I frowned as my shoulders dropped, and Winwin chuckled at me again.

"I have the cutest girlfriend ever, oh my gosh," Winwin cooed after as he pinched my cheeks, and I gave him a stink face while hitting his hands away.
