Chapter 1- The beginning of the end

During their few hours of accommodation CJ took her brother and the two girls to a makeover in order to fit their looks to the new city.
All of them changed their outfits and they love them. Uma's hair is now long of sea green colour. The braids are gone which makes her look more mature. Mal's hair got shorter and darker. There are no bangs anymore and the straight mauve mane is replaced by wavy dark purple hair that fits just perfect with her glowing blue tattoo.
As much as they loved their outfits, they had to change into more formal clothes for tonight's celebration. The three girls wore short casual dresses with their significant colour palette while Harry put on a red shirt with black pants and black shoes. The four of them were welcomed by Kida who gestured them to come next to her as she spoke to her people.
**Good evening, everyone! It's my pleasure to present you our guests! Please welcome them! Uma, Harry and Mal!**
Everyone cheered but then an old lady started yelling.
**Do you really think they'll save us?! They're just children playing heroes!**
Kida was shocked at the sudden movement and so were her friends.
The lady wanted to leave the scene, but not before she turned back and threw a dagger straight to Mal, which, thanks to her survival instinct and good reflexes, managed to catch it right before it hit her chest. Everyone went silent. The lady disspareared and Mal was left with the dagger. She placed it in the hidden pocket of her dress and before anyone could properly react, Kida spoke.
**Tonight we celebrate our friends visit. I ask of everyone to be nice to them and treat them well while they're staying here.**
And so, the music started playing and people came in with loads and loads of food and drinks. The atmosphere was beautiful.
Harry carefully caressed Mal's back.
**Are you alright?** He asked worried.
**Yeah.** Was all that she could say. She was focused on the lady. She didn't know who she was. She has never seen her before. So why would she target her? She was sure that she didn't want to kill her right there in front of everyone. So was it a test? But what for? Her train of thoughts arrived into station when CJ took her and Uma by the arms and went to get a few drinks.
**Ever since I saw you, I knew I wanted to get you two to help me prank Harry. The two of us used to prank each other a lot in the past. And last time he pulled a prank on me and yet I have to get my revenge.** Her eyes were sparkling and hoping that the two older girls would accept. They both looked at each other mischievously and grinned. They for sure wanted to do it.
**So. I need you, Uma, to distract Harry while Mal and I do the prank. You must get him near the farms. Mal and I will be taking a bag of flour and a bag of feathers and when he doesn't expect it, we throw them at him. But that's not all. When he'll turn to you to ask why did you bring him into this, you'll have a bucket of water.**
**That should stick him up.** Uma giggled, followed by the other two.
And so they started their plan.
Uma approached Harry, gave him a drink and they started talking. CJ and Mal left to the farms where they positioned themselves waiting for their friends.
As the minutes passed by, CJ felt the need to talk to Mal.
**So..umm..The reason I wanted Uma to distract Harry is because I wanted to spend some time with you.**
**Oh, really?** Mal was smiling, happy that CJ liked her as she liked her as well.
**Yup. You really are an interesting and fun person to be around. I like this aura that you have. You're really badass.**
Mal's smile turned into a grin and then into a soft daydreaming smile when CJ mentioned how happy she is that Harry found his other half.
Before CJ could ask her something, they saw Harry and Uma approach.
Time to put their plan into action. Mal and CJ threw the bags and exactly as CJ predicted, when Harry turned to Uma, she threw the water bucket. Harry was soaking wet, sticky and a walking mess all at the same time. The girls started laughing while Harry was clearly annoyed. **What was that for??**
**I have now gotten my revenge on the last prank you pulled on me and I'm satisfied with how it turned out. **
//Flashback//
**Harry! Come on! Harriet is waiting for us! We were supposed to meet up with her hours ago!** Harriet is mine and Harry's older sister. I told her that I'll search for Harry because we promised her we would help her move. She made a deal with our father that once she reached the age of 18 years old, Harry and I would get his ship and she would get one of her own. Harry was 13 at the time and I was 10. The same year when I disappeared in the dephts of the sea..
**Harry! Come on now! Harriet is gonna be pissed!** I've been looking for him everywhere. Where could he be?
**Gotcha!** He grabbed me by the shoulders. I jumped back and turned to face him. Big mistake. I tripped and fell on my butt. He let out a huge laugh which annoyed me even more. I scoffed.
**Where have you been?** I asked as I was getting up.
**Aww. Were you worried about me?** He approached me with a pouty face.
**Where have you been?** I asked again in a more serious tone.
**I was out by the inn with Uma. Why are you so worked up? I lost track of time.**
**We were supposed to help Harrier move.** His eyes grew big and I realised that he forgot it was today.
**Bloody hell she's gonna kill me! Let's go!** He grabbed my hand as we started running back to our ship.
A few of the crew members were waiting for us.
**I thought you got lost!** One of them sighed with relief.
**Where is Harriet?** Harry asked.
**Right here! It was about time you'd show up brother.** A tall figure appeared before us. She had long blonde locks of hair that rested on her shoulders. She wore a black leather dress paired up with a red leather jacket and black heels.
**What took you so long?** She asked.
**He was busy scaring the hell out of me.** I replied still annoyed. Harry laughed softly as he recalled my reaction at the scare.
**I'm gonna get you back for this.** I turned to him.
**We shall see about that. Catch me if you can!** He sprinted towards the ship, past Harriet and I followed suit.

As fun as it was, they still had to go back to the party and Mal followed Harry into his room so he'd change his dirty clothes.
**That was not funny at all. What were you thinking?** Harry was still annoyed as he took his shirt off.
**Oh come on. You liked it. After all it made CJ really happy.**
**Yeah.** He took his shoes and pants off and went to his wardrobe taking out a dark blue shirt and another pair of black pants and black shoes. He noticed Mal staring at him.
**Blue really brings out your eyes.** She said. He looked in the mirror and realised that she was right. The contrast between his icy blue eyes and the dark blue shirt was really showing beautifully. She came behind him, wrapping her arms around his chest and laying her head on his back. She softly said **I love you.** He turned around and took her in his arms, holding her close to him as he whispered in her ear **I love you too.** She raised her head to look into his eyes. And he looked into hers. They locked lips. They both knew that they are no longer alone.
