The Song of the Lost- Dark waters

Chapter 20- H.I.M. & H.E.R.

The bright light of a brand new day for Atlantis under the sun woke them up. This day marked a new beginning for each of them and all of them as family. Harry and Mal decided to stay in Atlantis for the next year until their baby was born. They figured out it was the perfect time to stick together with their friends, help Kida with her royalty duties and take care of Mal and her child.

//Time skip a year later//
The baby was now almost 4 months old. Mal gave birth to a beautiful girl with dark hair and her eyes were a mix of ocean blue and forest green just like her parents. They named her Rose, a symbolic name for a girl soft as the petals but though as its thorns. For the past years the couple has faced a lot of adventures together and that brought them closer. The year spent in Atlantis was a year full of peace and quiet because everyone was joyful again and the sun never stopped shining above the newborn city. Harry and CJ got the time they needed to fix their brother-sister bond while Mal and Kida remembered the good time they spent when they were little and recreated some of their memories. As for Mal and Uma, they are closer than ever. Mal sees her and Kida as her sisters along with CJ, the younger sibling. Mal couldn't help but wonder why Bell didn't want her to find a way of taking her out of the cat's body though. After everything she'd done for her, she wanted to repay her by taking her out of the small ball of fluff but Bell said that it wasn't the time for her plus that she was getting used to people giving her treats and massages.
Uma agreed to take care of Rose for the night as Mal and Harry wanted to spend some time together. Kida helped Mal get ready for her date as CJ helped her brother. The couple met up near the fountain just outside the castle and went off to spending a beautiful night around the edge of the island by the water. He had set up everything for her. All of her favourite foods and some of her favourite fruit, strawberries, blueberries, pomegranate and apples.
She was in awe. The place he had chosen was the only place on the island where the sea met the ocean, the two colors blending together leaving the moonlight to reveal the mesmerising picture. After they had eaten he invited her to dance. She announced that there was no music yet he had already started humming a beautiful song. The couple was dancing and Mal was fascinated by his soothing voice. His voice was so angelic she could listen to him every day and night. As they stopped dancing he caught her attention.
**Mal..One year ago today we have started a new life along with our friends. I want to thank you for entering my life years ago. I want to thank you for never leaving my soul, my thoughts and for giving me the most amazing gift someone ever could. You gave me our daughter! I pray that she grows up to be as beautiful, as talented, as forceful and as fearless as her mother! You are all I ever needed. You entered my life and brought me my sister, my friends, my daughter and my girlfriend. You gave me this family! I promise to forever love you and light your way in the dark, never leaving your side.** He sat on one knee and pulled out a box that held a silver ring with a purple jewel similar to the one that he gave her years ago. Mal gasped. **I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Maleficent Moors, will you marry me?**
She didn't hestitate. **YES!! HARRY YESS!!!** He placed the ring on her finger and she jumped into his arms. He held her close to him. They shared a passionate and loving kiss, the moonlight shining on their faces. A true love meant to last.
They returned to the castle where they told everyone the news. No one had a clue about his plans. They all cheered and spent the night laughing and telling stories and making plans for the wedding.

The wedding day was here. Mal and Harry decided to get married on the Jolly Roger because that was their home before they started the journey that changed their lives forever. Mal was able to get the ship to the island an year ago and their crew joined the people of Atlantis ever since. Everyone was ready for the wedding. Uma decorated the ship and went back to help Mal with her make up while Kida got her dress and CJ did her hair. She looked stunning. A real princess she thought.
**Uma, can I ask you something?**
**Of course, sis!**
**Will you give me away? You know the tradition of the bride's father walking her down the isle.. You've known me the longest so I was thinking that you'd be suited for this, if you want.**
**Yes!! It would mean the world to me!**

Some of the crew members and guys from Atlantis that Harry became friends with, helped him choose his costume and do his hair. He looked handsome as well.

Everyone was already on the ship waiting for the bride to arrive. Bell was standing with little Rose who turned 6 months today and the music started playing.
Kida and CJ made their way next to Bell and Rose while Mal walked on the ship with Uma next to her, holding her hand.
Harry was shocked by how beautiful his future wife looked and he became emotional when he realised why Mal thought of Uma to be the person who walks her down the isle. The two girls approached Harry and Kida's father who was going to be officialising their wedding. Uma took Harry's hand and united it with Mal's as she left and joined CJ and Kida.
Kida's father said his vows and now it was time for Mal and Harry.
**Mal, the first time I met you I was fascinated by your beauty. You got my attention the moment you presented yourself as I could feel your confidence. Later on, during our many adventures my feelings got stronger as you showed me how caring you are, how fearless and cunning and intelligent you are. You are also very talented at drawing. I remember one stormy night when you came by my room because you were bored and started drawing the storm outside. I was fascinated by how you managed to picture the depths of the sea, the dark sky, the mysterious fog and the calmness in the thunder and lightning. When I saw all of this in that drawing I realised that you drew that storm by picturing you. That was the moment I knew I was never going to love another person as much as I loved you.** Harry finished his vow. Mal responded through tears.
**I've never had a proper childhood. My mother didn't love me. She could barely stand me. I never got to know my father. And all my life..I've been alone. Everyone feared me. Everyone hated me. I had to move villages many times because at one point, someone would find out that I'm bad news and they'd go after me. No one ever wanted me nor wanted to know me. I learned to grow up the hard way. No one was there to teach me how to survive. I had to do everything on my own. Until I met you and Uma. You showed me the values of a real friendship. I haven't felt alone anymore ever since I fell in love with you. You have always been my light in the dark, my everything. I couldn't have been happier or more grateful to have you in my life. You are strong and caring and you always had my back no matter what. You were there for me when no one else was and I thank you for that, for being yourself, for being the person I fell in love with and the person I want to spend my life with.**
**By the power invested in me.. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.**
Harry wrapped his arm around Mal's waist and kissed her deeply. Everyone cheered.
The three girls congratulated the newly married couple. Rose started laughing and Mal took her in her arms. Everyone posed for a few photographs. Uma, CJ, Mal, Rose, Harry, Kida and Bell were all smiling and cheering.

Their happiness has soon dissappeared as a dark cloud formed in the sky. It was getting darker and darker and Rose started crying which draw Harry's attention back to his wife. Her eyes were glowing bright green and her tattoo was burning light blue. Something wasn't right. He took Rose out of her grasp and handed her to CJ as he tried to wake Mal up. The cloud started sending bright blue lightning hitting the waters as the loud thuds scared Bell sending chills down her spine. Harry brought Mal back to her normal self and staring at the cloud they could hear a voice. A voice Mal has been hearing her whole life. A deep blue spark formed in the center of the cloud.
**Dad?** Mal asked.
The cloud immediately vanished into thin air. Everyone was shocked.
Mal didn't say anything but Harry knew what she was thinking. He placed his hands on her shoulder and made sure she was looking into his eyes.
**Everything we do. We do together.** She looked at him but remained quiet.
**Promise?** He asked.
**Promise.** She sighed.
**I guess our adventure continues.** Uma replied.
