Mal spent the entire night trying to put herself together. In times like these, she wished she had her parents with her. Is it worth it? Leaving an entire civilization under the curse and finally find her father? Or lose the only chance she has in order to save the others?
**DAMMIT!** She started hitting the nearby trees. **Why me?! Why do I have to save everyone? They never told me what was at stake!** And then she recalled past moments. **Kida warned me. About the trials...Sacrificing the greatest desire...my father..** Mal sit down on the ground, hugging her legs, her head down and fell asleep around morning. She woke up when someone suddely began shaking her and calling her name. It was Uma.
**Why did you sleep here? We went searching for you through the entire forest! We thought you left us!**
Uma was visibly scared. It took Mal a solid few minutes to figure things out. Everyone was worried she left them in the middle of the night. She knew how important it was for everyone that she makes the right choice and breaks the curse..but her entire life, she's been running towards finding her father. She couldn't let that chance slip away.
**Look...we heard about the decision you have to make. I know it is really hard for you to choose between your life and your duty. But you must do what you feel, not what others think is right. Harry and I began this journey with you and we will support you no matter what. We are here for you and if you choose to find your father, we'll give everything we've got so that you find him. If you want to break the curse, same thing. We've been through a lot together. Not stopping that now. We're your family.**
Mal looked at her and saw the sincerity behind her eyes. She sighed and took the ember out of her bag.
Uma's eyes grew big and she took a step back. She took her own ember out of her pocket.//With Harry//
**She couldn't leave just like that. Something must've happened to her.** He said while walking through the woods, looking for his girlfriend.
**I hope she's alright.. Whatever happened, Mal is a fighter. I'm sure she's fine...**
**Harry...** He turned right hearing a voice calling his name. It was Mal. He ran as fast as he could until the trees were replaced by rocks. There was a stone in the centre where the last Ember shone a bright blue light. It was the crystal calling to him..not Mal. He moved towards it and the moment he touched it, his vision blurred. He saw Mal walking into the darkness, Uma calling after her while she was surrounded by flames. It was the dream the three of them shared. But this time CJ was calling after Kida who was walking on water, her eyes were shining blue, same as her necklace and tattoo. He heard CJ shaking of fear, crying as she said **I failed.** And then it hit him. The prophecy. CJ was gonna fail? And there's four more sentences and four people left... the vision ended as he saw Uma backing up when Mal showed her the Ember. She took out the second Ember from her pocket and they saw him holding the third one. Mal looked at him? her eyes were saying something that he couldn't quite figure out. Was she scared? Harry went closer to the girls and holding the three Embers together a light went past the two girls, pointing North.
**I guess that's our call.** Mal stated.
Soon after, Kida and CJ found the other three and they stopped when they saw the light.
**Is that..?** CJ questioned.
**The map to finding the Orb.** Kida answered. Kida looked at Mal trying to understand what her plans were.
**We go back to the Master. Get our supplies. Clothes, food and whatever you need and in one hour we'll leave.** Mal announced as she took the way back to the cave. On their way, Harry approached Mal asking her what happened the night before. She replied by saying that she was trying to figure out what decision she was gonna make.
**When we get there, I need to talk to you..alone.** He said. She just nodded and kept walking. Something was clearly bothering her.
