**You never told me how you got the cat by the way.** Kida stated as her and Mal were preparing for training.
Mal patted Bell's head and said **I saw her in my dream. I guess she was already in the room trying to wake me up.**
**The dream when you were unconscious?**
**Yeah..**
**Could you hear us?**
**No. I could only hear and see Bella.**
**Pretty name.**
**Indeed. Beauty but also a warrior.**
**Just like you, Mal. You've gone so far, faced a lot of challenges and there's even more to come. Yet you never backed down.**
**This is too important to me, Kida. I have been looking for my father for years and this is my only chance to know who he is.**
Kida looked down deciding wether to tell Mal what the ruler of Atlantis will put her through of not. As the princess, it was her duty to make sure that Mal succeeds..but Mal had nothing to do with this. The prophecy called her and gave her too much of a responsibly and too much of a sacrifice to give in return.   She wished she could take Mal's place. Her life was getting back together after the incident with Harry and Uma yet a greater battle was waiting for her. In times like these, she wished her mother was still alive to tell her what to do. She was forced to choose between her people and her best friend.
**What is it?** Kida was silent for too long and that sent some red flags to Mal.
It was time for her to choose. Her destiny, crown, people, responsibilities or her best friend, her only true friend, the one she looks up to, the one who gives her strength and confidence, the one who cares for her. Kida cared deeply about Mal..
**Mal..** She looked at her. She raised an eyebrow waiting for her to continue.
**I think I made a mistake. I am truly sorry. I wish you didn't have this burden on your shoulders...**
Mal stepped closer to Kida as she continued.
**My father kept calling you "Our Saviour"...the one who shall free Atlantis and break this awful curse. The prophecy says that you will have to make a great sacrifice in order to do it. And I'm afraid it might be giving up on the chance of knowing your father.**
**What??**
**You said that's the most important thing. It's either your father or Harry. Mal I'm so sorry but I had to tell you.** Mal was silent for a while as she processed what Kida told her.
**You risked telling me knowing that I might give up on saving your city. Why?**
**I couldn't tell you sooner. It was my responsibility as the princess to make sure you finish your mission at all costs. But I couldn't keep you in the dark about it. You had to know the consequences.. I'm sorry.**
Mal stayed silent. She was thinking whether or not to tell her about the second Ember.
**So you think that in order to save Atlantis, I have to sacrifice the chance of finding out who my father is or losing Harry for good?**
**I understand if you choose your father over Atlantis.**
**Is there no other way? Like you said, you aren't sure if that's the sacrifice the prophecy mentioned.**
**Sacrificing your desires Mal...they are the only ones.**
**Let's begin training and I'll think about it.**
**I'm sorry.**
The two girls entered the training field and the others came and looked at them. Little did they know that Harry and CJ heard their conversation.
**So what do you think Mal is gonna do?** CJ whispered.
**I honestly don't know. She won't give up on her only chance to get to the Orb. But knowing Mal, she will try to save Atlantis as well.**
**But she won't be able to do both.**
**Believe me, dear sister, if there is someone so cunning, so courageous yet also out of her damned mind to do the impossible, that's Mal.**
**You do have a lot of faith in her.**
**Don't you?**
**If I were her, I would've chosen to find you. Even if Atlantis is my home. Or I'd indeed try to find a loophole.**
**I am your greatest desire? I am flattered.** CJ hit the back of his head.
**Ow.**
**Dork.**

//That Night//
Everyone fell asleep but Mal. She took her bag and headed out of the cave and into the woods. She made sure she was deep into the forest so that no one would see her and took out the Ember.
**Meow!**
**Oh shoot, Bell! Why did you follow me?**
She pointed towards the Ember.
**You don't want me to destroy it?**
She nodded. She moved closer to her and touched the Ember in her hand with her paw. Mal's tattoo began glowing again and her vision darkened.
**Mal...**  That voice again..
**The Ember is the only way I can find the Orb, right. But I can't risk the others to come with me.**
Bell's eyes also glowed bright blue.
**You are all connected and involved in this. The prophecy has called the five of you.**

One shall fail. One shall survive. One shall rule. One shall rise. One shall use their voice.

**Wait! You talked!** and then she recognised the voice. **Dad?!**
The cat's eyes turned back to normal.
**One shall fail. One shall survive. One shall rule. One shall rise. One shall use their voice.** She kept repeating trying to match the sentence with the names.
There was CJ, Harry, Kida, Uma and herself. They each had a purpose and they were all involved. She couldn't think only about herself. Uma and Harry joined her on this journey because they wanted to stay by her side and help her. It isn't just family business anymore. There's a lot more at stake now. The fate of an entire civilization. Everyone is counting on her to make the right choice. Will she?
