Awwww, look at that pic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The next couple of days were slow and terrible. Sophie was on bed rest with Tam, Linh and Marella were training together almost every day, Dex was working on some technopath thing he thinks could help Sophie out, and Fitz and Keef..... Biana didn't know how they were holding up. Fitz had told Biana about the latest revelations with Sophie and how he thinks she likes Keefe, and honestly, Biana didn't think the accusation was too far fetched.  She'd seen the exchanged looks the two shared. It wasn't very subtle.

So since pretty much, everyone was doing something, Biana converted to throwing goblin throwing stars to pass the endless seeming days. It was either that or mope around in her room all day and she was so not doing that.

"Hey." A soft whisper startled Biana so much she dropped the star she was holding. A hand reached out, firmly grabbing her arm and pulling her back so the star wouldn't land on her foot. She watched as the star landed exactly in the same spot her foot had been in before. She sucked in a breath, twisting around to see who had distracted her, expecting to see her brother's teal eyes peering at, but instead, she met the sharp gaze of a flashy looking silver-eyed boy.

"Tam?" Biana whispered, her throat choking off as she examined him. The fire hadn't done any permanent damage and he looked to be okay, but....... that didn't stomp out the fear she'd felt when he'd collapsed barely breathing at all. She'd thought she'd lost him.... lost him without saying how she really felt...

Without thinking about how he would react, Biana threw her arms around him and pulled him into the tightest hug she's ever given anyone. Tam grunted in surprise and was tense at first, but soon ended wrapping his arms around her waist and hugging her back. "It thought.... well I knew you'd be okay but..." She couldn't finish and he responded by holding her tighter.

"I'm fine. You're freaking out even more then Linh was, and trust me, there was a lot more water involved." He smiled as he pulled away, but kept his hands on her waist. Biana didn't move. She couldn't move. Not by the way he was intensely staring at her. Her body was frozen where it was and she felt her heart stutter to a stop when he leaned in so close to her face, she could see the dark ombre coloring of his eyelashes. Biana's breath caught, but she didn't move away.

He leaned in a smidge closer, moving slowly as he did, but Biana was tired of waiting for him. So she pushed him forward and pressed her lips against his. He flinched, startled at first and for a second Biana was worried he wouldn't kiss her back, but he did.... and that made it...

......so much better. His arms wrapped even tighter around her, pulling her closer to him. Her hands reached up to his hair and she tangled her fingers in it, surprised at how soft it felt.  Her heart was beating unnaturally and tiny explosions kept going off in her body. Everywhere Tam touched left a trail of tingles on her skin. She'd never thought she'd be kissing Tam. Ever. He never seemed like the type. But she liked him. And he liked her back. And the thought of that lifted her spirits higher then she'd felt them in years. Biana smiled against his lips and he broke away, a small grin spread across his as well.

"We should be training." He murmured but didn't move. Biana didn't either. Instead, she laughed, leaning her forehead against Tams.

"I'm good right where I am."
