Princess and the Pauper (Non - Barbie Edition)

Belle exposes her true identity

At the palace, Queen Lilianwas relieved that all was well and she announced.
"Everything seems to be in order. Thank you, Ambassador. The kingdoms will be officially joined after the wedding tomorrow. She turned to Belle. "Are you ready, Darling?"
"Ready as i ever be" she said.
"For my bride to be." Adam said he opened a ring box to show a ring gilded with gold and the diamond topaz on top.
She gasped at its beauty but it was short-lived when Ratcliffe showed up.

"Grab her! She's an imposter!" Ratcliffe commanded the guards and they held Belle hostage.
Queen Lillian was furiously confused and she asked him what was going on.
"Ratcliffe, what are you doing?"
"Get your hands off me!" Belle commanded
"Release the princess!" Adam added.
Ratcliffe yelled in exclamation who the Princess really was.
"She's a fake! A common pauper!"
The queen stood from her throne and she walked to Ratcliffe.
"Are you telling me I don't know my own daughter?"
Ratcliffe gave a lengthy explanation to the queen explaining the truth of what really happened.
"I only just discovered the truth myself, Your majesty. Have you not wondered why we haven't seen Julian lately? He's conspiring with this-this imposter! Together they took the princess and hid her in the Royal Mine so- so she could take her place, marry King Dominick and take over the kingdom!"
King Adam was not buying the explanation and he asked for a real explanation.
"And what proof do you have of this ridiculous story?"
Ratcliffe concocted a sad tale of the mine and how Cinderella and her tutor were trapped.
"Once I discovered this treachery, I tried to rescue the princess but it was too late. They sabotaged the Mine, collapsing it. I'm afraid this is all my workers found in the rubble." He ended the story and showed the Queen the ring.
"No! It cannot be!" Lilian cried and she sobbed.
Ratcliffe proved her more evidence"Check her shoulder! There's no royal birthmark. I assure you."
Lilian sobbed, "It's true..." she gasped and sat on her throne.
Percy snatched her wig removing the tiara as well.
Adam was shocked and he sadly remarked,
"I don't believe it."
"I can explain." Belle sadly said.
Ratcliffe commanded the guards of the girl's punishment.
"Throw her in the dungeon!"
Belle walkd to the king and told him the truth."No, wait! I-I'm not the princess, but I never hurt her or anybody else!" She said as the guards took her arm.
Ambassador Jaq walked in at the moment and he exclaimed. "Unbelievable! It's an outrage!
Belle said her last words point to Ratcliffe. "I-I just wanted to save the princess! From him!"
"The dungeon!" Ratcliffe commanded the guards as the guards sent her down and her cat followed suit.
Queen Lillian clasped her hands and she sobbed,
"My daughter... My poor daughter..." she sobbed herself to sleep.

Ambassador Jaq was furious as he climbed inside the carriage."What do they take us for? Fools? Trying to marry you off to a mere pauper!?"
Adam remarked. "It doesn't make sense."
Jaq thought otherwise."I should say not. The sooner we leave, the happier I'll be." After he said, the carriage rode of back to Dansanta.
Belle sang a reprise of the song from days earlier but she cried herself to sleep.
