When the door opens, and the ash swirls in, Teldryn has a habit of looking up. Not because he's waiting for anyone in particular. Teldryn just needs a patron. And the woman who walks through the door looks promising. Though not short, she isn't tall either. Curvy in the right places, and lean. Her hair in long, blue black, and tied into a no-nonsense bun. He sees a scar under her right eye, a sign of a fierce woman. He already likes the looks of her, very promising patron. She scans the top floor of the bar and his eyes, though covered with goggles, lock with hers. She has purple eyes! He thinks in shock. She must be related to the Wolf Queen. Only her genetics created purple eyes. He has only heard about the family in books, and he never thought he would see one of them this closely. He was curious.
He followed her as she headed down to the stairs. She greeted Geldis like they knew each other for a long time, and that may be. He has kept to himself for a long time on this rock. She begins to weave a story, loudly for all to hear. He can't help but to enjoy it, its always the same thing here in Raven Rock. But as she ends her tale, he can't help but to quip- "How are you to travel through the Ash wastes, with barely more than the armor and weapon you carry?". He regrets it as soon as it passes his lips, as she glares at him with fire in her eyes. There's nothing worse than an angry Dunmer woman. But the fire dies quickly as she says, ""I was hoping to find a sword, either for hire or nay, to accompany me. I have seen that this island has changed since my last visit- and I intend to make it to my Master Neloth unscathed."
Honesty. That's a good sign of a good patron, if the gold is right. Teldryn presses his fingers to his chin, as Geldis begins to talk to her. He sits quietly, but adds at the end of what Geldis is saying, "For a price." She walks to his seat, and pulls out a chair. "What's the price?", she asks. Teldryn smiles under his helmet, happy at a possible exciting prospect. "500 septims. No less. You'll be amazed at my prowess. I won't disappoint." he tells her, judging her expression. She is not off put by the price, and counts out her septims, and pushes them to him. "500 septims, no less." He pockets the money and tells her, "Lead on!"
He is excited to leave this dreadful place, but she says that she must rest. So she rents a room, lets him know he can come in once ready, and heads to bed. He smiles, humming to himself, and gets up. "Geldis, a mug of your finest Sujamma, please. I wish to celebrate." Geldis peaks out from behind the counter with a frothy mug of his own Sujamma. Teldryn happily pays, then sits at the bar. "So you know her?", he asks. Geldis nods, "Aye, she is the adopted daughter of Master Neloth. Though not Telvanni by blood, you would never know that seeing her skills in the arcane arts." Teldryn is surprised. That woman, that spectacular, gorgeous woman, is not only Barenziah blood, but a Telvanni? And the Dragonborn? What is this woman not capable of? He muses to himself. He finishes up his mug, grabs his gear, and heads to Raevyn's room for the night.
