Ice, Blood and Ash, a Skyrim adventure

Departure

I rise up from the bed, turn to Teldryn, and tell him, "Don't get too comfortable, I'll be right back, and we'll head off." Teldryn started to say something but stopped short once I walked out the door.

I powered over to Neloth, infuriated that he would upset my traveling companion. Upset time to the point where he didn't want to assist me anyone. I would not want to lose my assistant at this point, he was every bit as capable of handling those who would have me dead as he said he was. "Master. I am leaving now. Both because I must learn more about the Voice, and more so because you upset Teldryn, and I need his help in this matter. Your condescending speech was uneccessary, and untrue. This I will prove to you upon my return." As Neloth is at his experiments, he gives me a dismissive gesture and says, "Goodbye and whatnot."

I return to the room, and Teldryn is ready to go. He nods, lifts his pack and shrugs it on. I grab my pack, shouldering it as I head out the door. I float down the tower, and out into the open air.

The cool air seems to calm both our tempers, and I ask, "You offered to come to Skyrim with me. Are you still willing to go? It will be an arduous adventure, but well worth it. I'll split the best loot with you, and any coin made." He stops, turns, and sticks out his hand, saying "Deal. And not for the loot, or the gold, but just to get off of this blasted rock." I shake his hand heartily and we head to the Northern Maiden.

We stop at the abandoned farm, slaying the ash spawn there, to rest for the night. Raven Rock is close, but I'm too exhausted from my anger earlier, so we make camp. I gather wood, and start a fire with a spell. The flames glow a strange mix of blueish-purple from the chemicals in the ash. I prepare a quick meal, we eat, and unpack our bedrolls. I am asleep before I even cover myself.
