Farengar is grinning ear to ear as I slowly unwrap the Dragon Stone. His colleague and him pour over the stone, and as they study, I am pulled aside by the Jarl. A dragon has been sighted at the West Tower, and me, being the only person nearby who has ever even SEEN a dragon, I am immediately volunteered. So I head to the West Watchtower, and wait. And as I wait, the dragon flus overheard, speaking in the Dragon tongue. We fight valiantly and manage to bring the beast down. But then the oddest of sensations takes over me. Etherial smoke empties from the dragon and into me. And the Nords gather, as they always do, at the sight of magick. But this is different. They show no fear, only awe. "You're, You're....Dragonborn.", and they explain to me what this means. I've lived in Skyrim my whole life and never heard this tale? It must just be Nord folklore. But they tell me to shout, and it comes out like a dragons, spoken as a spell. The falter back, and they are even more awed that they moved. "Yes, you are Dragonborn. But how?" says one of the guards, "Maybe I'm Dragonborn, too," says another. My job here is done, so I head back to the Jarl. He's still sitting in his nonchalant position, as if nothing bothers him. He tells me of this "Dragonborn" nonsense, and sends me to the Greybeards at High Hrothgar. Its quite a ways, and I even ran into a frost troll, but I made it. I open the doors to their grand monument. A man introduces himself as Arngeir, and teaches me the rest of the words to what he calls "Unrelenting force". I manage through his teachings, learning yo push people and items with my vouce, and then he takes our lesson outside. With a few words taught by another Greybeard, I learn to propel myself forward with amazing speed. I smile to myself, but also groan inwardly, because I know what all this means. Arngeir explains the importance of the Dragonborn, and what my gifts allow me to do. I put two and two together, and realize, that, with the coming of dragons, and I as the dragonborn, I must stop them. I am the only one who can devour their soul permanently. I need to see my Master Neloth. Now.
