Along the way are many ash spawn, ash hoppers and Reavers that do delay out progress. We arrive at Tel Mithryn in the late afternoon, still glad to at least have made it during the day. I view the grand mushroom towers, and notice his main one is withering. With Neloths capabilities, why is it withering? I head inside, float up to the top, with Teldryn right behind me. I hear Neloth berating someone, no doubt his steward, as usual. I clear my thraot, and announce, "Master, I have returned." Neloth looks in my direction, smirks, and heads over. He's moody today, best tread lightly.
"I thought you were heading to Cyrodiil to to attend the Mages Guild." he says curtly. "I was, but the Imperial Legion had other ideas for me.", I explain to him exactly what happened and why I am now here. "This is a lot to mull over, best over some Canis root tea.", he calls to his steward "(Name), boil some canis root tea!" He leads us over to a table to sit. "And who is this mysterious person who follows you?", he asks. "This is Teldryn Sero, a Spellsword from Raven Rock. I hired him to assist me along the way, and he has done his job quite well. I made it here safely, without a scratch." I introduce him to Neloth, who nods and goes back to the matter at hand. "So you are Dragonborn. I bet the Nords loved hearing that their savior is an elf!" he guffawed. "And now Miraak wants you dead. Well, you did come to the right place. I know much of Miraak, and his Black Books. He is in league with Hermaeous Mora, you know." I am stunned. A Dragonborn sworn to a Daedra? I figured I would be the first. "No, I did not know he was sworn to a daedra. Aren't Dragonborn like most Nords, Sovngarde and all that?" Neloth confirms this, but Miraaks quest for the knowledge to have others bow to his will lead him to Hermaous. "This is quite a bit to muse over." I say. Neloth gently reminds her of her room, and that it is still available. "I couldn't bring myself to use it," says Neloth, showing his heart more than he wanted. "I will head to my room to retire, and to contemplate what I must do next, thank you, Master.", I say as I bend down to give Master Neloth a kiss on the cheek. I let Teldryn know he can join me when he is ready, but to not touch Neloth's magical items. The mer does not play when it comes to them, and will happily cut off a hand or two to use in his experiments. I head to my room and close the door behind me.
