Limerick
The Wondering Jew
There once was a wondering Jew,
Who dreamed of a heaven and knew,
His boy with no head,
His girl blown to shreds,
Would be there when he got there too.
He wondered if war and destruction,
Once over, could seed re-construction;
Of hearts, not of roads;
Of love by the loads.
That hope, seemed an evil seduction.
