Darwin's Design
This is the world that Darwin created.
A world that sustains all our screams;
Where killing the weak is the way to the top,
And murder embraces our dreams.
Look to the east and see only hatred,
And look to the west to see fear.
Then look to the north or south for some help,
But all you will see there are tears.
There's cruelty in nature and man is a brute
Who cares for no-one but himself.
But Darwin declared that this is just fine
'Cause God made an ape of Himself.
And women like men, are drawn to delight
In murders by mothers-to-be.
Encouraged by Darwin's monstrous creation;
Now governed by "what's good for me".
So God give me strength to lust not for pow'r,
And lift me above what is cruel.
Let me stay true to the love that you gave
And suffer being called, but a fool.
For so will the world that God once designed
Be taken and crushed back dust.
The rivers of blood that we fill each day
Will ne'er satisfy all the lust.
As long as one man is stronger than one,
Then death will be roped into twine;
And throats will for sure, be bound to be slit,
According to Darwin's design.
