Sonnet (non Iambic)
You
You are my dear love, as light as a laugh.
Your smile like the sun, has reached to my soul.
You flirt through my heart, expand it by half,
And warm my within and make my life whole.
You entered my life before I could blink,
Planted a seed that has blossomed to stay.
Captured my heart with your rhythm in sync,
Brought love like a rose yields scent every day.
E'en as I fly over life's hills and dales,
I still feel the warmth in every embrace.
I feel you right there, in all my travails,
As you share your love and fill me with grace.
But where will it go, as older we grow?
Just stronger my love, I most surely know!
