The next day at school was the same as every other day, besides the fact that when I walked out of my second period class, none other than Gerard Way was casually leaning against my locker.

I stopped in my tracks peering across the hall at the absurd scene, what was he doing at my locker?

One could only assume that he was there to threaten me, or punch me in the face, but I had to get my books for my next class, so I guess I also have to suck it up and go over there.

I make my way towards the locker, looking down at my shoes as I walk, trying to feign nonchalance, like I don't see my worst enemy leaning against my locker.

I finally make it to the locker and stand there looking at Gerard.

"Um, what are you doing?" I ask lacing my words with venom.

He jumps, eyes wide, and turns to face me.

"Oh!" he starts, "Hey, Frankie."

My eyebrows furrow as I try to understand why he is acting like it's an anomaly to see me standing here at my locker.

"Why are you standing here, Gerard? What- if you're here to torture me, just do it, I have a class to be at." I sigh leaning against the locker next to mine.

He looks confused for a moment, staring at me, before what I said clicks in his head and he smiles.

"Oh, no actually, I'm here to say sorry for almost murdering you with my fork yesterday." He says slowly like he doesn't believe the words.

I roll my eyes at that, "Yeah, okay Gerard. Now if you're done could you please move out of the way- the bell rings in less than two minutes and I would rather not be tardy because of you."

Something like hurt flashes across his eyes, but I don't get to see what the emotion was before it was quickly covered my something more sinister.

"Well, I was trying to be nice, but since you want to be a dick today, I won't." He states simply before winking and walking away.

I roll my eyes and huff before turning to my locker and finally being able to get my books out.

"Have a good rest of your day, Frankie" I hear Gerard yell from down the hall.

I should have been scared at the tremendous amount of sarcasm that sentence was laced with, but in all honesty, I've been dealing with his shit long enough to the point I could care less.

I throw my books into my locker and check the clock, cursing under my breath I make a beeline for my next class.

I make it just before the bell rings and slide into my seat, pulling put the materials I need.

I feel something hit my head and turn around with a glare to see the perpetrator.

My glare deepens when I see exactly who that person is- Gerard.

Of course its Gerard, who else would it be?

He looks at me with a smirk and points towards the paper ball that he threw at me and mouths "open it".

My eyes flicker down to the wadded paper ball and back up to Gerard who is still smirking.

I hesitantly reach for the paper and send one last glance at Gerard before gently unfolding it from it's crumpled state.

Meet me behind the building right after school. x

I just roll my eyes and crumple the paper back into it's ball form and stand up, looking back to make sure Gerard is watching me, and toss it into the trashcan.
