"Ah~ finally a night without rain." Sana happily whined as she stretched both her arms. Standing up from the couch, she walked towards her bedroom but stopped in front of her door. She looked at Dahyun in the living room.
"It was a very cold night for the past few days, isn't it?" She said with a smile plastered on her face. Dahyun who was still on the couch nodded silently.
"Good night, little sister." Her last words before entering her room.
"Good night," Dahyun replied weakly though Sana already disappeared into her room. She turned off the television and the light. She also went to her bedroom.
She sat by the window while looking up to the sky outside.
"Is it really no rain again tonight?" She asked as she hugged her legs close to her chest, putting her head on top of her knees.
"But, it's still so cold here." She sighed. Without her realizing it, she drifted off to sound asleep.

Dahyun opened her eyes to the blinding sunlight. She covered her face with her palm, trying to block the light from hurting her eyes. She looked around at her noisy and cheerful classmates who play around and joke with each other. She sighed again.
The class was empty when she came this morning. The class must have been filled while she fell asleep just now.
"Last night was so cold. I wonder why the weather forecast is always wrong?" One of her classmates said. She didn't mean to eavesdrop on them, but they were being too loud for Dahyun to hear. "Did they count it wrong or... the weather is trying to pull a trick on the meteorologist?" Another girl said. They laughed out loud together at their absurd thought.
'Wrong. Last night, it rained last night.' Dahyun's heart whispered to no one other than herself. She knew that it will rain last night. But, the weather forecast said it won't. Of course, a girl like her wouldn't believe that. Because she is the girl, who feels the coldness even before the rain pours. She wouldn't believe that reporter, but she still relies on their report. Hoping that one day, the rain will truly stop.
"Did you guys hear about it?" Another girl came to the recent girls who were laughing out loud with a shocked and slightly excited expression.
"About what?" The other asked.
Dahyun let out another sigh. She put back her head down on the desk.
'Why does the teacher come late today?' She thought. 'I wish people also have a volume button.'
"They broke up?" The girls screamed in shock.
Dahyun frowned with her eyes closed, feeling irritated.
'I knew it. Last night, when it was supposed to not rain, somewhere out there, someone was crying in the rain.' Dahyun's heart whispered again.
'I knew it.' She sighed softly.
She knew it. The reason why the rain keeps pouring down.
