"Hello, Mark?"

"Oh! Hey Youngjae...what's up?"

"About Dahyun..."

-----

Mark heard from Dahyun's classmates that she did not come to school today. He was thinking if this was related to the hot story that recently went crazy in the whole school. It's not her fault, why was she back away?

He, himself was also surprised to know just how popular they had become.

He went to the school library, trying to find something that he wasn't sure about. He did not expect to find the answer there but there might be something to come to his mind. The library is quiet. It's a good place for thinking. He can't believe he was thinking about how to bring back the girl he used to be close with. He can't believe that he was actually feeling afraid to lose her.

He can't believe that he actually has feelings for her.

"What is it that you thinking about so seriously?" A voice interrupted his thought.

He looked behind and saw Momo.

"I was just thinking...about random stuff." He replied. If he can, he actually wanted to not associate with his ex- anymore. He then stood up and was about to leave.

"Is it about Dahyun?" Momo asked. Mark stopped on his track but did not reply. Considering between wanted to tell or not. But, it's not even her problem to think about. Why bothered telling her anyway?

So he just shook his head in response before continuing to walk away.

"She might be thinking about the gossip a lot..." Momo said and once again Mark stopped.

He turned back to look at Momo. "What do you mean?" He asked.

"She is fragile. She thinks a lot. Even about a little thing. While other people did not care, she did. So, the same goes for this situation. She might be thinking a lot about this thing. She might feel that you two are not a match for each other. She might want to give up whatever she was feeling right now. She might want to give up on you." Momo explained more than needed to Mark.

"I'm jealous that you like her a lot more than you did with me before." Momo continued.

"Because she likes me a lot more than you did before," Mark replied and this time he really left the library.

"That's hurt," Momo said but then she brushed it away as if it did not matter anymore.

Dahyun might think that she is not suitable for him. She might take what they say for real. But Mark thought that it was just her personal opinion and it doesn't matter. For him, they can just draw their own lines so that they can be together in the same way.

"You stupid, why did you even sweat for this little thing?" He talked to himself though it was supposed to be for Dahyun. He checked on his phone, but Dahyun still did not reply to his messages. Dahyun didn't even call him back after the tenth time she missed his call.

Then, he dialed another certain number.

"What's up?" The person on the other line greeted.

"Bring me to Dahyun's place," Mark said. Loud and clear.

"Bring you what!?" Asked the other line. It's not that they can't hear it well, but they were too shocked after hearing it.

Dahyun was wrapped inside her blanket. Sound asleep in the comfort of her blanket hugging her warmly and the coldness from the AC lingering around her room.
