It rained again last night

That day, the encounter with Momo have such an impact on Dahyun. It made Dahyun think a lot. 

"Let's put it this way. Think that you're now in a relationship with Mark and suddenly out of nowhere, never did you think your crush suddenly come and told you he likes you. What would you do?" Momo's words kept playing in her head.

Would you choose the person you are in love with now or the one who you have been longing to have?

Dahyun sat by the window again. She looked up at the sky. 'It has been a while since the rain falls.' She was too caught up with her daily life that she did not realize that rain hasn't fallen for a few days already.

"I've always wished for the rain to stop, yet when it has stopped, I don't even realize it." She talked to herself. She touched the window's glass. 

'Cold.' 

The shiver ran through her finger to her body.

She stood up from the place and dusted her pajamas. She went to her bed and get ready to sleep.

One.

Two.

Three... She counted.

'It really does not rain tonight.' She thought with her eyes closed. 

She did not realize that she missed the rain so much. She did not realize that she actually loves the cold lingering over her body. She just misses the night when the rain is falling.

'Am I too greedy? I want the rain to stop yet I miss the night when it rains.' She couldn't stop having so much thought. 

'Let's just go to sleep.' She sighed out giving up waiting for the rain.

Mark had just finished doing his homework. He stretched his arm and body after cramping up getting his homework done. He looked up at the wall clock while closing his book.

10:11 PM

'That was pretty late. What a bunch of homework.' He thought while sighing out a heavy load that he has been keeping on his shoulder. Too much pressure for the ace student. 

'Does she already asleep?' He thought. Reaching for his phone on the table, he unlocked it. He plopped down on his bed, scrolling down on his phone searching for one certain name. 

Contemplating whether to call her or not. He clicked the dial button anyway.

Ringing.

No answer.

'The person you're trying to call is unavailable...'

Voicemail.

"Maybe she is already asleep." He smiled and clicked the home button. He saw the weather forecast.

"There will be a light shower. Hope it doesn't last long." He said and cut the light off. He pulled his blanket and closed his eyes trying to fall asleep at the same time falling for the girl named, Kim Dahyun.

The clock ticking sound is so loud in the silent rooms of Mark and Dahyun.

Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick... and it keeps continuing until the sound disappeared. Covered by the sound of the rain.
