Chapter 7: Hollywood

"Hello" I answered my phone.

"Hi, baby. How are you?"

"I'm good. How are you?"

"Alright, I just wish these meetings were over."

"Yeah"

"We got a break. I justed want to make sure you were okay."

"I'm fine"

"Did you have lunch?"

"Yeah"

"What did you have?"

"Cheeseburger"

"I should have known" She laughed.

"Yeah"

"Are you trying to get me off the phone?"

"No, mom. I would never do such thing."

"If you say so"

"I do, I do."

"You may have to get yourself dinner because Mark wants to take us all out to dinner after our meetings."

"Mark?"

"He works in services"

"Oh okay. What time will you be back?"

"Probably around eight. I feel bad. You are all by yourself."

"I'm fine, really" I heard people talking in the background.

"Back to work. I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"Okay"

"I love you"

"I love you too. Be careful"

"You too and stay out of trouble."

"Me?"

"Yeah you"

"No promises. Bye" I hung up.

"Sorry about that. What were you saying?" 

"I wanted to know if you wanted that tour?" He asked.

"If I'm not taking you away from anything"

"No, I'd love to show you around."

"Okay then" We headed back to the restaurant's parking lot. He opened the passenger's side door.

"Thank you" I got in closing the door as he got in the drivers side. We pulled out of the parking lot.

"Where are we heading?"

"Hollywood"

"Really?"

"Yeah"

"Awesome" He laughed.

"Earlier you mentioned you wanted to move here. Why?"

"I can't really explain why. Just somewhere different. I might come here for college or maybe go into show business."

"Really, you want to go in show business?"

"Maybe, it's been a dream of mine to be an actress and write. But, it's probably just a dream."

"A dream is only a dream, until you decide to make it real. Go for what you you want. I did and look where I am."

"You're right."

"Don't doubt yourself, love. When the time comes you'll know what to do."

"You are full of wisdom, grasshopper." I tried sounding like Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid.

"It's just the truth."

It wasn't much longer until we were on Hollywood Boulevard. We parked getting out heading to the Walk of Fame seeing some of the biggest stars names on the marble sidewalk in reddish color marble stars in gold print. There had to be about 3,000 stars. Then we went to the Chinese Theater and saw many of the stars handprints, footprints, and signatures in the cement. I blended in as a tourist. Harry not so much. People came up asking for pictures and autographs. I just looked down at all the stars prints taking some pictures of my favorite actors prints.

"Ready to move on?" Harry said standing beside me.

"Whenever you are." We walked up and down Hollywood Boulevard seeing the different theaters, stores, and attractions. Harry and I talked and joked the whole time. I didn't think talking to him would be this easy. He's so easy to talk to.The last time I checked my phone it was almost five o'clock. The sun was starting to go down.

"Are you hungry?" He asked.

"Are you?"

"I asked you first"

"Not really"

"Okay, well come on I'll show you more of Hollywood."
