"A-Aquamarine?!"

Steven, Connie, and Spinel stood at the throne room's door. They were scared, but mostly dumbfounded to find Aquamarine, and her group of different gems in the room. There were quartz soldiers, topazes, and even a few tanzanites. Aquamarine sat on Pink Diamond's throne, staring down at the trio, literally and figuratively.

"Well, well," Aquamarine said in her high pitched voice. "So it's true. The great Steven Universe, and scaredy cat Spinel decided to visit Homeworld." Her gaze flickered to the human who was by Steven's side. "Oh, and you brought some flesh bag as well. Who are you?!"

"You know me, I'm Connie," the blue gem just raised an eyebrow. "You know, you abducted me?"

"Nope! Doesn't ring a bell! I guess you're just not important," Aquamarine laughed.

Connie contorted her face into one of frustration. She was about to say something, but Steven beat her to it.

"What are you doing here?!"

Aquamarine covered her giggle with her knuckle in a polite manner. She smiled widely, giving him a calm response.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm here to take back what you stole from all of us! What you took from me!"

Steven stood dazed by her statement. "Wh-What did I take from you?!"

Aquamarine glared at the boy, her fists clenched. Her eye twitched slightly, but she fixed the bow in her hair, and then calmed down. "Are you really this dense?! You took my image from me!"

"What do you mean," Steven asked.

Aquamarine sighed in annoyance, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Let me put it a way you'll understand! I used to be better than the rest. Which is why I was sent on an abduction mission. The Diamonds used to be fierce, they made sure there was order and balance in Homeworld. I respected them greatly, I mean, after all they are the ones to thank for my position... at least they were. Then Pink's prodigy son, Steven Universe, came along and instantly changed everyone's mind through 'love'. I went from being an important, high ranking gem, into being an equal nobody! Well I've had enough of this new society, so... well. Now I'll take it back, under my rule!"

The gems below her cheered at her little speech. Steven, and Connie exchanged a quick, worried, glance. They didn't know what to think. If Aquamarine managed to take Homeworld under her iron fist, then she would definitely dismantle this knew peaceful society!

"Well... how do you expect to do that with only a handful of gems by your side," Connie asked quite confidently.

Aquamarine's eyes were wide for a second, before she, and her posey, broke out into laughter. Aquamarine wiped away a tear, finally settling down. "Oh... oh my! You are a riot flesh bag! You really think that I'm that dull?! Obviously, you can't win a war, unless you have an army!"

As if on cue, the huge doors shut behind the trio. Then, more gems jumped out from their hiding places, surrounding the Crystal Gems. Their enemies stepped closer, forming a circle around them. Steven, Connie, and Spinel jumped after they were forced back to back to back.

"Stop," Aquamarine shouted.

The gems listened, backing up slightly to give the heroes personal space.

"I could care less what happens to you earthlings. In fact, I could easily tell my friends her to kill you all right now!" Aquamarine snapped, causing the gems to walk closer to their targets, weapons ready. Aquamarine snapped once more, and the rebellious gems backed up again. "The only reason you're still standing, is because I could use some help..."
