Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl warped back home from Little Homeworld. As they stepped off the pad, they noticed the touching scene before them. Spinel lay asleep against the bubble that held Steven. He too, lay sleeping against the bubble.
"Aww, they look so cute," Amethyst whispered.
"Yes... it's too bad Steven's..." Pearl caught herself, not being able to finish her sentence.
"Uhh... Garnet," Amethyst started. "Why are you smiling like that?"
Garnet held the goofiest, happiest, smile on her face. She turned to the two gems, and whispered back.
"I think we should unbubble Steven."
The two gems were obviously shocked, but considering Garnet's happy demeanor and future vision, they agreed. Garnet smiled, and walked over to the two sleepy gems. She got rid of the bubble as quietly as possible, making sure not to wake them up. Pearl then got two blankets from Steven's room, and neatly wrapped them around the pair. The three Crystal Gems smiled at the two, then went into their rooms for the rest of the night.

Spinel awoke with a yawn, and stretched out her arms. She sat up, rubbing her eyes. She then remembered what had transpired last night, and blushed slightly. She turned around, and jumped a little from shock. She was surprised to not see Steven in a bubble, but that concern quickly left her, as she wanted to give him a big hug. Steven grunted, better never woke from his slumber. Spinel let give, plastering on a sheepish smile.
Spinel got up, and walked outside. She leaned forward against the porch's railing, resting her arms against them. She smiled at the sunrise, taking in all of it's beauty. Earth truly was magical, she knew that much.
She never thought she'd understand why Pink left... but she does now. Humans, plant life, animals, their all the same. Everything here... it's here for a purpose. Everything here grows, and that's what Spinel finds the most amazing. On Homeworld, before Steven, everything was always the same. Pearl's were servants, Lapis's were terraformers, Ruby's were guards... the list goes on. But when Steven came, everything changed. Now Gems have the chance to grow, just like humans. Steven really was an amazing gem, and human being.
Spinel wiped away some tears, and took in a deep breath. She heard the door open behind, so she turned her head to see who her visitor was.
"Yo," Amethyst said.
"Oh, hi Amethyst," Spinel replied.
Amethyst walked up next to her friend, and leaned against the railing. She smirked at Spinel, who raised a brow.
"Sooo," Amethyst grinned.
"Uhh... what?"
"Don't play dumb," Amethyst joked, playfully punching Spinel on the arm. "I know you asked out Steven!"
Spinel blushed, and her eyes went wide. She gave a sheepish grin, and rubbed the back of her neck.
"Uhh, hehe... y-yeah! Guess I did do that huh," she said sheepishly.
Amethyst chuckled slightly at her embarrassment.
"Hey, no need to be all flustered dude! I don't mind it, none of us do."
"Wait... you all know?!"
"Yeah, Garnet told us she saw this happening in her future vision. But hey, like I said, we don't mind. In fact, I'm glad to see him happy again," Amethyst said, peering in through the window. "Recently, he's been so down and caught up on in trying to fix this Homeworld problem. I thought he could finally take it easy after the first time... but I should've known White would go behind his back! Now, he's corrupting, and we don't know what gonna happen to him."
