Inuyasha x reader

Kikyo

It's been a few days since the incident with Miroku. "Hey, you listening?" I looked up at Kagoma.

"Oh, sorry." I mumbled.

"It's been raining demon parts." Miroku said.

"Yes, its awful! It completely ruined all our fields!" The village chief said.

"No just the fields, the old, the young, the weak, so many of them have fallen ill." another villager said.

"I should think so." Miroku said. "I've been detecting an evil presence in this area. Leave it to me." he said.

"So here we go to save the day, again. Do we really have time for this? What about Naraku?!" Inuyasha asked. 

"No ones forgotten, but Kagome's arrow had done serious damage, even Naraku would be down for a while." Miroku said.

"Besides, he already received the money." I said pointing to Miroku.

"When'd that happen?" Kagome asked.

"You haven't done anything yet!" Inuyasha said to him. "The payment usually comes after the work." he said.

"If I do then you'll get cheated on the tip." he said.

"Sango, something wrong?" Kagome asked and we all turned to her and she was looking at the mountains.

"The miasma, I think its at the base of that mountain." she said. "I was wondering if someone other than Naraku could make such poison." she said looking at us.

"Other than Naraku?" I asked.

We got to the mountain and I was walking near the front with Inuyasha, "The miasma is so strong, grass doesn't even grow up here." Shippo said.

"We're almost there. Whatever's going on here, I don't like it." Inuyasha said.

".. A cave." I said.

"I think thats where the miasma is coming from." Kagome said.

Sango started coughing and fell of of Kirara, "Sango, Kagome, you stay here. It's just a demon hunt. No sense dragging everyone along." Inuyasha said.

"Miroku, (Y/n), you coming?" Inuyasha asked.

"Sure." I answered.

"Shippo, you seem resistant to the poison, can you look after things?" Miroku asked.

"Leave it to me!" Shippo said, "Be careful, the miasma is strong." he said.

"Don't worry." I said, changing into my kitsune form.

Inuyasha was holding a flashlight, I believe it was called as we walked deeper into the cave. "We must be getting close now." Inuyasha said and Miroku began coughing.

"You okay?" I asked crouching down next to him.

"I'm fine.. I just have to move slower... Sorry." he apologized.

"It's good you've been trained. A normal human would've died this far in." I said, my tail flicking around.

"Somethings there." Inuyasha said.

"Let's go." he said. We got to the end of the cave. 

"What is that.." I frowned seeing pieces of demons lying around and some purple.. water?

Then 2 demons rose out from the liquid and began fighting each other. "There must have been a battle, hundreds, fighting and dying. The losers were thrown here." Miroku said.

"There's gotta be a reason." Inuyasha said.

"The last demon standing, gets to keep all the parts." I muttered.

"I'm still here! The promise was that the final winner would leave this place alive. Why am I still here!" the giant demon asked. "Unless I'm not the final winer." It looked at us.

"Damn it." I mumbled.

"Not yet you're not!" Inuyasha said.

"Hold it." I held him back.

"Let me go!" Inuyasha yelled and jumped out.

".. Miroku.. what were you thinking?" I asked him.

"If I'm right, then this is bad.." he said.

I turned to look at Inuyasha. "This is bad either way." I mumbled watching Inuyasha cutting up the giant demon. 

"Stop fighting it!" I yelled at him.

"Are you crazy?! We'll die if I don't!" he yelled up at me.

"Idiot!" I yelled.

"Inuyasha, this is similar to a technique called Fuko, its how you make a creature called kudoku!" Miroku yelled.

I stopped hearing footsteps behind us. I sniffed the air, but the small from the demon was too strong and I couldn't tell who it was. I grabbed Yo, and quickly turned holding up my blade and growled seeing who it was.

"Whose there?" Miroku turned around.

"Kikyo..." I hissed and her gaze was fixed on Inuyasha.

"Kikyo!" Inuyasha called out her name. Something began flying out of her, and she fell forward.

I reached out to grab her, but stopped, letting her fall. ".. How did she get here." I thought watching as Inuyasha ran to her. "Is someone watching us?... Naraku?" I thought, and put away my katana.

"The miasma became thicker with Kikyo's dead souls." Miroku said.

"Miroku, (Y/n)!" I turned seeing Kagome.

".. I need to check something." I said.

"What?" Kagome asked.

"Don't worry." I said. 

I jumped out from the cave opening, out towards the opening of whatever this was. I grabbed onto the wall with my claws and looked down. I saw a sacred arrow headed for me and quickly jumped out of the way. I covered my face at the bright light that came from the arrow and fell into the icky water.

"What the hell!" I yelled standing up.

I felt the ground shaking and we seemed to be getting sucked out. I grabbed onto one of the demon parts and got pulled into the air. I turned my gaze seeing it was Naraku. I quickly let go of the demon and braced myself as I fell from the air. "(Y/n)!" I heard Inuyasha yell.

I landed and Inuyasha with Kagome landed next to me. "He needed a new boy, so he used the demons to give himself a new body." I said standing back up.

"So, you were lured here by the miasma. You took the bait, and I cast my spell. So this is the woman who restored me to life." Naraku looked down at Kikyo. "Thanks to her, I have a new body.

"Don't be stupid! She did it to save Inuyasha, not you! SO wipe that stupid smile off your face!" Kagome yelled at him.

"Did she really?" I thought looking at Kikyo.

"Don't you dare, don't you touch her now, or ever!" Inuyasha rushed forward, but Naraku escaped in a mist of miasma.

"... It doesn't make sense.. If Kikyo wanted to save Inuyasha, she would've aimed the arrow at the demon... Instead she broke the spell, giving Naraku the body. It's impossible that she had missed and the arrow was deflected upwards by mistake, she's not stupid.." I frowned staring up at Naraku as he escaped with Kikyo.
