Inuyasha x reader

Sesshomaru

I had rejoined with Inuyasha and his group of friends. They were curious to where I had wandered off to, but I just said I chased after one of Naraku's insects but lost it.

We were currently just walking along a dirt path. Kagome was upset over the shards she had lost to Kikyo. "Its so unlike Inuyasha to be so understanding." Sango said.

"Cause Kikyo is the one who took them." I said with my arms crossed.

"A crime committed by the one he loves." Shippo said sighing.

"Hey, are you guys implying that I'm trying to defend Kikyo?!" he asked us. He looked at Kagome, "What, do you also think-" Kagome said nothing and just separated herself from him. "If you have complaints, just speak up!!" He yelled.

We then heard a mooing sound. "A cow?" I asked.

We looked around and saw nothing. It mooed again and I looked up, "Found it." I said.

"Above?!" I moved as lighting struck down from the sky.

A man sitting on a cow was in front of us when the smoke cleared. "My name is Totosai." he simply said, "Draw your sword, Inuyasha." he said.

"He knows him?" I thought.

"If you refuse, I'm going on the offensive!" he said jumping and taking out a hammer, hitting Inuyasha's sword.

"The resonance is way too small, maybe this kid isn't the right one." he said.

He then took out of a piece of leather, licked it, and stopped Inuyasha's swing. The flea then showed up and began explaining to us, how Totosai was the one who made Inuyashas sword.

I sat on the side as they talked since I had nothing to do with it.

"What mystery, I'll get the hang of it in no time." Inuyasha said and I sighed.

"Inuyasha, listen to the sword smith." I said.

"Fine." he said annoyed.

"There is a fool who ordered me to forge a sword, to rival the power of the Tetsaiga. Or he will kill me. Show me that you can protect me from him." he said. Miyoga then asked Totosai to describe him, "He has white hair and wears furry warm looking clothing." he said.

"Wants a sword stronger than Inuyasha's Tetsaiga... Furry and warm looking... Seshomaru?" I thought.

"Exactly! It's that Seshomaru!" Totosai yelled and I looked up seeing Seshomaru riding on some lizard dragon thing.

"Inuyasha, why do you plot with Totosai?" he asked him. His gaze turned to me and I waved and he nodded his head slightly towards me. "Totosai, I see you are rushing headlong into death." he said to him.

"Oh no, I just thought.. after you beat Inuyasha, I can make you a new sword." he said and I rolled my eyes.

"Totosai, don't forget what you said. You heard him, Inuyasha. You can die for the sake of my new sword." he said floating next to his demon lizard dragon. 

"You should run." I said looking at Kagome. He and Totosai ran off to a safe distance.

I jumped up into the air as the 2 brothers fought. I walked over to Sesshomaru's flying lizard dragon and smiled letting its 2 heads sniff me. "Aren't you cute.." I said smiling.

I looked down seeing the fighting had paused. Inuyasha got back up, and swinging his sword around wildly. Seshomaru grabbed Inuyasha by his wrist, seeming to burn him. Totosai then spit out fire separating the 2 of them.

I landed next to Seshomaru when the fighting had ended. He looked down at me and I looked up at him. "You got tall." I said and he pet my head with his hand.

"(Y/n), get away from him!" I heard Shippo yell.

"Besides, I've already made you a fine sword! The famous sword at your hip, Tenseiga. Tenseiga for the older brother, Tetsaiga for the younger. That was your fathers last will. It is a great sword of swords, not better or worse then Tetsaiga! Why don't you learn to love it more!"Totosai yelled.

"You dare to imply rust this stupid, useless sword... is worthy of me?" Seshomaru said and I felt his anger radiating off of him.

Totosai then proceeded to make his escape, slamming his hammer into the ground, and the ground started to break and spew out lava. "(Y/n)!" Inuyasha yelled out my name and before I could move out of the way, Seshomaru grabbed me by the waist and jumped up, and landed on a small patch of land with lava surrounding it. 

"They escaped." I said looking at him, "Leaving me with you." I said.

"How have you been?" he asked.

"Been better." I smiled and touched his furry scarf thing. "still wearing this?" I asked him.

"Of course." he said.

"Your arm?" I asked holding the left sleeve of his kimono.

"Inuyasha." he said simply. 

"I see.." I said and I placed my hand on his cheek, my finger tracing the rim of his ear, he leaned in to my touch, and I kissed his cheek. "See you around old man." I smiled and disappeared in a swirl of blue fire.

I ended up next to a riverbed, finding the others, "Hey, having fun?" I asked and they all turned to me.

"How'd you get away from him?" Inuyasha asked me.

"Why wouldn't I? It's not like he'd kill me." I said sitting on a rock. "I may be his ex, but we left on pretty good terms." I mumbled and looked at Inuyasha. "Come here stupid." I said and held his injured wrist. He was healing, but it was slow. 

"What are you doing?" he asked me.

"Shush." I said and a swirl of flame appeared in my palm revealing a small vial. I poured a gel like substance onto my palm and spread it over his burns. 

In seconds, the burns were gone, and he felt no pain. "What is that?" Kagome asked.

"Medicine." I said putting it away.

"Thanks." he said.

"Don't thank me." I said and Totosai was looking at me.

"What?" I asked.

"I didn't get a good look before but are you... Miss .. (Y/n)?" he asked and I nodded. "I see. I'm sorry about your father." he said.

"Don't worry about it. It's in the past." I said and he nodded.

The next morning, Sesshomaru appeared before Inuyasha again. Seshomaru had a strange dragon or some demon arm as a left arm and was attacking Inuyasha, or more specifically, the Tetsaiga.

Inuyasha wouldn't let us interfere, saying that he'd kill Sesshomaru with Tetsaiga. Inuyasha got burned again with Seshomaru's acid, but this time in the face. 

Inuyasha then seemed to have sliced the air, and Sesshomaru was gone. When the light faded, marks were left in the ground. I walked over to him and he looked at me. "Can you see?" I asked.

He shook his head. "Let's go wash your eyes." I said helping him up.

I took him to the river and he washed out his eyes. Totosai was talking about how Tenseiga saved Sesshomaru from Tetsaiga. 

I stood up and walked away and saw Kagome went to check on Inuyasha. I made a small bird out of my fire with a note engraved into it. "Find Seshomaru for me." I whispered and it flew off.
